WALKING TOUR JAPAN IN OTARU | Finding the Sea on a Snowy Coastal Walk
I took a wrong turn and ended up walking down into Funahamacho.
After a brief moment of confusion, I gathered myself and headed toward the East Otaru Coast.
As I walked, the sea stayed on my right the whole way.
The gentle sound of waves brought a quiet sense of relief —
a feeling that I wouldn’t get lost again.
With snow covering the coast, the beauty of East Otaru slowly unfolded,
making this a calm and reassuring winter walk.
