QANTAS A330-200 QF108 Economy Class – Sapporo to Sydney, From The Snow To The Summer Heat (4K)

After catching the Re-launch Sydney to Sapporo flight a couple of days earlier, it was time to head back home.

Included in this video is an overview of catching the train from Sapporo to New Chitose Airport, plus following the signs from the JR Line Train Station under the Domestic Terminal to the International Terminal.

Qantas Check-In is at the C Counters, and opens 3 hours prior to the flight departure.

If you are flying Business Class, or have Qantas/OneWorld status, the Royal Lounge is used, which is a solid lounge offering for what many may call a larger regional airport.

Boarding was slightly delayed due to the crew arriving late (Weather related with the bus arriving late) and once onboard, we were delayed again due to ice forming on the wings with de-icing being required. This is something I see dozens of times in Finland and surrounds, but first ever time on a Qantas aircraft (I am sure it will be common over the coming months as the weather gets colder).

Before long we were on our way, meals were very good, and even managed to get several hours sleep.

Great views of Sydney upon approach, and after landing on Runway 34L, the aircraft used the entire length of the runway to taxi as we were being directed to a remote gate, closer to the Domestic Terminal at Sydney.

It wasn’t long before we were all on the bus, heading for T1, then time to go home…

One week to recover then off on another crazy adventure.
