JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) is running the “Happy Early Booking! Advance Overseas Points Campaign (for departures between April and October 2026)” from November 21 through bookings made by April 26, 2026.
For reservations made up to 120 days before departure, 5% of the travel price will be returned as points (up to a maximum of 50,000 points). For eligible tours to Europe and for departures during Japan’s Golden Week and Silver Week holidays in 2026, an additional flat 10,000 points will be granted for each, allowing travelers to earn up to 70,000 points per booking. Awarded points can be used toward payment of travel costs on the JTB website, Rurubu Travel, and at JTB Group stores or via call centers.
Products planned by other companies, package tours other than land cruises, and standalone products such as international air tickets or overseas hotel bookings are not eligible. Eligible booking channels are the official JTB website and official app, JTB branches and partner agencies, the Travel Reservation Center, JTB Remote Concierge, the official Tabimonogatari website, and the Tabimonogatari Sales Center.
To participate, customers must register for JTB Travel Members MyJTB and subscribe to either the “JTB Travel News” or the “Travel Point News / Travel Card Information” email newsletter. They must maintain their subscription from entry through point award. If entry, reservation, and departure are all completed within the campaign period under the same account, points will be awarded by the end of the month following the month of departure. Points are valid until the end of December 2027.
Even when using JTB Travel Points or discount coupons, the calculation will be based on the travel price before discounts. In addition, for plans where airport taxes, airport usage fees, fuel surcharges, and similar charges are set separately, only the portion corresponding to the travel price will be eligible.
