Dragon Quest X Online, which originally launched back in 2012, continues to see regular updates all these years later. Square Enix has just announced the latest expansion for the title, Ver. 8.0, which is set to launch in Japan on June 25th, 2026. Unfortunately, there’s still no word on a localization at this time.
Dragon Quest X Online‘s Version 8.0 expansion is called Stray Children of Space and Time, and it will include the following content:
new story
new characters
more content to be revealed
Square Enix will share more information on the Ver. 8.0 update at the Dragon Quest X Spring Festival 2026 on March 20th and 21st, 2026. Lastly, a new physical version of Dragon Quest X Online All-In-One is on the way as well. This will include Versions 1-8, and it’s launching on the same day as the Ver. 8.0 update.
