We planned to visit Japan last month but canceled due to the anti โforeignerโ sentiment. A friend of mine canceled their spring 2026 trip for the same reason.

I went to Japan last year and visited Yokohama Chinatown. My expectation is that the sellers should speak Cantonese or Mandarin. When I spoke Chinese they looked at me as an alien. Do you know what dialect do Chinese speaks in Chinatown? I also visited the noodle cup museum. I wasnโt happy with how the employee treated me. She thinks that I was from China. She made me read the simplified Chinese poster on how to design the cup but I read English and some traditional Chinese. It took me a long to guess the words. I keep on telling her that I prefer English. The line was getting longer and longer. She finally let me read the English instructions. I wasnโt happy on how she treated me. Just because I am Chinese she canโt assume that I read simplified Chinese!

Pretty sad to see the Japanese tourism business go downhill because of politics but now you're getting a reality check. Sad.
For the last 2 years we spent 90 days each in Japan spending a lot of money BUT our last trip we felt a lot of r a c i s m toward us and sorry no more going to china now in spring and staying 60 days and spend a lot of our money there…my sister was in China last year and said it is amazing and no R a c i s m

5:17 I believe Mexicans celebrate Christmas eve more than Christmas. I think it has to do with midnight mass. Well at least in my family we celebrated more on Christmas eve
