An Indian man living in Japan praised the country’s air quality and amazed social media users by showing a crystal-clear view of Mount Fuji from miles away in a now-viral video.
Instagram user Azeem Mansoori shared the clip with the caption, “Getting used to Japan’s fresh air,” hinting at the contrast he experienced after moving there.
In the video, Azeem can be seen standing against a clean, expansive city skyline as he speaks directly to the camera about the surrounding visibility.
“Japan’s air is so clean,” he says, adding that he can clearly see Mount Fuji from where he is standing despite being almost 200 kilometres away. Emphasising his point, he turns the camera around and slowly zooms in on Mount Fuji, which appears strikingly sharp and unobstructed against the sky.
“Let me show you how clear it looks from this distance,” he says, before concluding, “I think this is proof enough that Japan’s air is very clean. Come to Japan, live here.”

The video received surprising reactions online, with several users comparing the scene to the pollution levels in Indian cities.
One user wrote, “Brother, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen such a clear sky.” Another user joked, “Parcel us some air here too, the condition is very bad here.”
Several viewers also used the moment to dwell upon the air quality concerns back home, calling the video both impressive and bittersweet as it showed what clean air and visibility could truly look like.
