street in Naja Okawa. I came out. I had no idea that the streets would be closed, but uh little bit different perspective. Kind of decided to do this video on spur of the moment. Wanted to see see what’s happening. There was a performance just right up here that I missed unfortunately, but uh it’s okay. There’s that uh interesting shop with all the uh vintage memorabilia. Hulk, Jaws, Tweety Bird. I knew some of the streets in Tokyo, they close off on Sundays. Had no idea that this would be going on here. >> Here’s the group that was doing the performance. Unfortunately, I missed them. I’m sure it would have been >> interesting to see about 3:30 in the afternoon. >> So, I don’t know if there’ll be another one or not. Probably will be. Don’t look like they’re packing up. >> That’s a close-up view of the shops from my other videos, but like I said, it’s a different perspective. Couple more days. I am headed to Taiwan. Should be nice. I was there before a year ago. It was cold and rainy. I was there in March. Hopefully, uh, we get decent weather this time. There’s places that I wanted to go that I didn’t get to last time because, you know, time was limited due to the weather. I’m coming. I don’t really have a lot to say on this walk. Just kind of >> walking along and enjoying the sights. I’ve already seen some things that I hadn’t seen before, especially up higher on the buildings. Army, Navy, Air Force, green store. >> Pop kebabs. Not real sure what they are. >> Pictures make them look like Doritos. One thing I have noticed is there’s surprising number of steakouses here. be expected in a such a touristy area. Cool little restaurant there with the scaffolding. That’s why I tried popper fish a few days ago. It wasn’t bad. I don’t know exactly what I was expecting, but um it was good. But I’ve tried it. >> Sounds like some people back here having a good time. So far, I’m enjoying my time in in Okan. like to come back and explore some of the islands one day, which I probably will spend less time in mainland Japan and more time here. Oh, we fell up here. Let cars out. We got my shirt. They’re on here. All right. Shishu dogs >> very popular for photos. Hey, that restaurant yesterday was really good. Get out here in the road again for a better view. >> Mountain Diva Cafe. They put a lot of their goods out on the steps. Seen a lot of people getting their pictures out here on the >> out here on the road. >> I mean, it’s good view. Why not? >> Mango House. Got a lot of Hawaiian style shirts there. There’s another one down by where we started. >> I bought two shirts there. >> I’m sure you will see them in upcoming videos. >> So, leave me a comment. Tell me what you’d like to see. I’d appreciate it and it would be helpful. We go to a lot of these places for the first time and I don’t really know what’s there. >> I can check out other people’s YouTube videos, but I’d like to get something unique. >> Nowadays, it’s quite difficult to do. like it’s closed off for a long way. >> Good job. If you don’t know, it’s technically part of Japan, but it’s different from Japan. I mean, Okad people have their own own culture. Big Echo. It’s a place to go do karaoke, go in with a few of your friends, get your own boots. So, I’ve not been in one, but nice setup. I >> think that’s Don Kyote. >> Brandon looks very similar to other places I’ve seen. Oh, that was a little robot dog. I don’t know if you can see it or not. It’s >> the first time I’ve seen one out like this. >> Yeah, we went down through there on another video. I’m not doing it again. >> Can you see him? >> It’s your own story. Hey, no problem. That’s a cold. Okay. Did he die? What is this? >> Looks a little rough. >> Looks like it’d be something fun to play with. An expensive toy. I want one of the big giant ones that I’ve seen a few videos of that you can ride. Be my new form of transportation. Think getting it on flight might be a problem. of the steakhouse. Yakaniku And right over here above McDonald’s is uh Hans Steakhouse. Go see what’s happening over here. Several people out with their with their pets today. >> Black D Oh, black cooji mold ice cream. >> I don’t know what that is. might be the best thing ever. >> 80th anniversary. Now you need the education creation. We’ll say there’s a lot of good food here in Okinawa and there’s a lot of it. I just have to ask Google what it is. Most of the time I know it by well but just by a different name. More blue glass. I love that glass. I wouldn’t mind buying a few pieces of it, but survive my suitcase and then I have to ship it home. Guess they got to let the cars and motorcycles cross somewhere. >> Get back out here on the street like I had planned. I mean, this was a spur of the moment decision to do this video. >> Thank you. I was actually on my way to a different location and saw the street shut off and it’s like, yeah, probably won’t give another chance where I was going. I can go tomorrow. Still got tomorrow and Tuesday. I hope go to the aquarium one of them days in the American village the other we’ll see in clouds >> it’s extremely warm and humid for the time New year. >> Imagine what it’s going to be like in the summer here. Heard it’s just extremely hot and miserable. Getting a drum performance might be her calling. Go to this side. It’s where the bigger shops are. Right down there. See up above was the mon room. Think that’s another steakhouse there. I haven’t rode the monol yet. >> Samb bags, lion bags, blue seal bags. >> Sorry about the sound. Just wanted to take a look back. I’ve noticed sometimes I’m walking right in the sun, it’s blinding me, but when I play back the video, it’s like nothing. So, it’s hard to judge. There it is on the other side. You >> see they’re like a small It’s going to take one from the airport to this station here station, but um it was late. I didn’t want to mess with it. Didn’t cost that much for a Uber.
