Naomi Osaka co-founded Evolve Agency with her agent Stuart Duguid in 2022. Now, she’s leaving that agency to fend for herself. The four-time major champion announced the news on Thursday, posting on Instagram.

“Hi everyone, writing this to say starting in the new year I’ll be parting ways with Evolve,” Osaka wrote. “It’s been a great run and I’m so grateful for all the memories shared. When I make my decision on where I’ll go next, you’ll hear it from me. Thank you for supporting me always and I’m so excited for the year ahead!”

Osaka finished 2025 at No.16 in the world and played in the semifinals at this year’s US Open. That was a giant step for the former world No.1 after years of struggles and time off tour due to mental health reasons and pregnancy.

Aryna Sabalenka, Nick Kyrgios, Ons Jabeur, Iva Jović, Eva Lys, Terence Atmane and former world No. 11 Anna Kalinskaya are also on Evolve’s roster.

Osaka, coached by Thomas Wiktorowski, has not won a major title since 2021.
