OSAKA (TR) – A woman in Osaka Prefecture has filed a criminal complaint alleging she was sexually assaulted by her uncle 11 years ago, when she was a middle school student.
A video obtained by TBS News (Dec. 19) shows the uncle making seemingly admitting to the allegations.
The woman tells the network, “It’s very difficult to live a normal life. Even though I thought I’d overcome the trauma, there’s no going back.”
According to the complaint, the 25-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by her uncle in 2014 while she was in her second year of middle school. During the attack, she was unable to resist.

“What if I got pregnant?”
In the video shot in September of the woman’s first meeting with her uncle since the assault, the uncle does not deny the allegations.
“I wanted you, your existence,” he says. The woman then asks, “What if I got pregnant?”
After he says he was sure she would not bet pregnant, she asks, “Have you ever felt guilty?” He responds, “Can I be honest? If [nobody] finds out, it’s legal, right?”
Osaka Prefectural Police accepted the woman’s complaint in September. It has been revealed that they are investigating the uncle on suspicion of quasi-rape.
The network visited the uncle earlier this month. However, he declined to be interviewed.
