$15 Japan Street Food Challenge! 🍡 🍑

This is Kamakura Kumachi Street and let’s see how much we can eat for $15. >> First, we hit Koko Kamakura for the 500 yen cheese menchi katsu. It was a juicy soft fried meatball with melted cheese inside. Look at that cheese pool. Next, we went to Sakura no Yuya for this beautiful 290 and fourcolor dango. The Sakura bean, green soybean, chestnut, and matcha flavors were all delicious and so worth it. >> To wash the dango down, we visited Kamakura Chacha for a quick 880 yen matcha latte and [music] it came with matcha ice cube so that it doesn’t dilute the drink. >> Oh, that’s so smart. Next, we went to K for these unique 160 yen edomame paste mochi and water dumpling. Sweet, chewy, and full of deep edomame flavor. >> We actually had to revisit the dango shop again to try the 200 yen sakura because Aaron just had to try it. >> Wait, it looks cute. >> And it was aroma is so nice. There’s like two of them.

  1. *The Β₯500 menchi katsu in the beginning is actually $3.2*
*Final price is still correct though. Sorry for the mistake! 😭*

Komachi Street in Kamakura was so fun to stroll around! It's literally right next to the Kamakura station, so it was super convenient too!

We did have to walk like 15 minutes to get to the beach area, but everything was so pretty and clean!

That area is also known for Shirasu (tiny anchovy), so consider trying it if you guys get to visit!

  2. I'm confused. How is 500 yen and 290 yen the same price? Am I missing something. The food looks amazing, though!πŸ˜©πŸ˜πŸ‘
