In November 2025, the miratap Indonesia showroom marked its third anniversary in PIK2 by unveiling a refreshed and thoughtfully redesigned space. Carrying the theme “Japanese Minimalism Design in Indonesia,” the renovation highlights a deeper commitment to simplicity, functionality, and emotional warmth. The updated showroom not only showcases clean lines and uncluttered layouts but also integrates natural materials, soft lighting, and calming colour palettes to embody the essence of Japanese minimalism. miratap aims to invite visitors to experience a harmonious balance between aesthetic clarity and practical comfort.
The new space features our main product line-up: kitchens, doors, storage systems, and wash basins, also reflecting our broader vision of supporting the lifestyle and spatial needs of customers in Indonesia.
Bringing Japanese Aesthetics into Everyday Life
Japanese minimalism lies at the heart of miratap’s design philosophy. Clean lines, calm spaces, and the natural beauty of materials define the aesthetic we are proud to share. One of our milestones was becoming the first Asian company to receive the Salone del Mobile Milano Award in 2018, an achievement that continues to inspire our commitment to quality and design.
Stainless Steel Kitchens
Our stainless steel kitchens, imported from Japan, showcase the precision of Japanese craftsmanship. The GRAD45 model represents our pursuit of pure minimalism, removing unnecessary details while achieving a balanced blend of visual calm and advanced functionality. Its refined form has earned recognition both in Japan and internationally.
Wooden Kitchens
Our wooden kitchen line-up is manufactured at the Hou-Tech Indonesia factory in Surabaya, operating under the same design philosophy and strict quality standards as our headquarters in Japan. Exclusively dedicated to producing wooden kitchens, the Surabaya facility excels in delivering flexible customization. Each product features high-quality finishes that showcase the natural warmth and character of wood.
Doors
The “Noppo” door series, named after the Japanese word for “Tall Guy,” features slim frames and concealed hinges to achieve a clean, minimal look. Its elegant presence has been well received by both homeowners and commercial clients in Indonesia.
Washbasins
All miratap wash basins are imported from Japan. Highlights include Shigaraki Concrete, inspired by traditional Shigaraki-yaki ceramics, and Tehachi, a compact stainless steel hand basin that expresses essential functional beauty.
The New Showroom: A Proposal for Living Spaces
The revamped showroom presents miratap’s vision of simple, beautiful living. The first floor highlights premium imported items, including stainless steel kitchens and select design pieces. The second floor showcases compact kitchens, wooden storage solutions, and doors, creating a complete and approachable spatial experience.
From high-end selections to practical, well-designed essentials, the new miratap Indonesia Showroom invites visitors to experience Japanese minimalism—seeing it, feeling it, and envisioning it in their own homes.
