Indonesia said its pavilion at Expo Osaka attracted more than 3.5 million visitors, surpassing the initial target of 2.8 million.
It also stated it had secured US$28.3 billion in investment commitments through 104 business sessions, resulting in 20 memorandums of understanding, nine letters of intent, two joint venture agreements, one joint statement, and 11 tourism package deals, he said.
Throughout the expo, held from April 13 to October 13, Indonesia organized 234 activities, including exhibitions and cultural performances, involving ministries, state institutions, regional governments, and business entities.
The Indonesia Pavilion showcased the country’s natural resources and cultural diversity through a design developed by Didit Hendiprasetyo, presenting Indonesia’s development vision and global engagement.
