We traveled to Kobe, Japan, but not to try their world famous beef. As one of the first Japanese port cities open to foreign trade, Kobe is home to some of the world’s best bakeries. From traditional Japanese baked goods to European-inspired creations, Kobe bakeries offer a wide variety to suit different palates. After watching Bread Story on YouTube for a few years, we decided to experience the pastries in person & try them out for ourselves.
