Imperial Hotel Kyoto to Open Four In-House Dining Venues in March 2026

Imperial Hotel Kyoto will open two directly operated restaurants and two bars on its opening day, March 5, 2026.

At “Ren,” a French restaurant serving French cuisine in a counter-style setting, course menus will be offered that reflect the natural features of Kyoto through conversations with local producers and the use of seasonal ingredients. The all-day dining restaurant “Yasaka,” which inherits the design of the historic Yasaka Kaikan in Kyoto, will feature an open kitchen equipped with a wood-fired oven that uses natural heat sources such as firewood and charcoal, and will serve dishes such as the “Yasaka Burger” and “Yasaka Curry” finished in the wood-fired oven. At the main bar, the “Old Imperial Bar,” ceramic reliefs inspired by the design of the former main building of the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo will be displayed, and in addition to original cocktails, limited cocktails such as the “Mount Hiei,” which combines matcha green tea with the classic “Mount Fuji” cocktail, will be served. At “The Rooftop,” a rooftop bar on the terrace, cocktails will be offered exclusively to staying guests.

Restaurant reservations will open at 10:00 a.m. on January 7, 2026 for Imperial Club members, and at 10:00 a.m. on January 13, 2026 for the general public.
