



I remembered going to Yamagata about 3 years ago during Autumn and having this at the festival. Honestly kinda forgot that I had that dish, only remembered again when I started researching about this prefecture haha. Makes me wish I could go back… definitely one of my most memorable trips ><.
Anyways, I paired this stew with tamagoyaki, radish carrot pickle and a vegetarian side dish (not sure what it's called ><) for a complete meal (last pic).
