Plush releases for the Pokémon Co. are nothing new, as they’ve been releasing soft and squishy toys for decades now. All these years later the plush products continue to pour out, as they’re no doubt the most popular merch in the Pokémon Co. lineup. Now the plush options are set to expand once again, this time with a series tied to a specific game.
Pokémon Co. has announced a wave of plush Pokémon dolls based on Pokémon Friends, the puzzle game that launched on Switch and mobile devices back in July. This wave of Pokémon Friends plush dolls includes Pikachu, Ditto, and Wooloo, and they’ll be available starting December 20th, 2025 at Pokémon Center locations in Japan.
As you might have guessed, there’s no word on the Pokémon Friends plushies making their way worldwide just yet, but this is very much a matter of when and not if. Once Pokémon Co. shares the details on a release outside of Japan, we’ll make sure to give you the complete breakdown.
Unwind with puzzles in Pokémon Friends! Solve sets of three randomly selected puzzles to help untangle your mind—then place the yarn you obtain into the Plush-O-Matic: a special machine that creates in-game Pokémon plush! As you try to make them all, you can track your crafted plush in the catalog. You can also mark your calendar with a stamp each day you play, and then go back and practice the puzzles you played on those days.
