CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A more than $90 million investment to build a new manufacturing facility will create more than 900 jobs in the city of Clarksville in Montgomery County.
State leaders, including Gov. Bill Lee, announced T.RAD is expanding to Tennessee with Clarksville as the company’s first location in the state.
The new project will create 928 new jobs and invest $90.2 million in Montgomery County as a new facility is built.
“Upon completion, the additional investment and staffing will support increased production and expand the company’s customer base across the Southeast,” the state said.
T.RAD North America, which is headquartered in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, is a subsidiary of Japanese manufacturer T.RAD.
