The Pokemon Company announced that it has started selling new donuts inspired by Groudon and Kyogre at its Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe outlet in Ikebukuro. These donuts are set to be available for a limited time throughout the 2025-2026 Winter season.
The outlet also has an English website with a menu sheet that includes the limited donuts. The Groudon and Kyogre Pokemon donuts are tentatively named Red Donut and Blue Donut in English, but the Japanese webpage already has proper Japanese names for them: Old-Fashioned Omega and Old-Fashioned Alpha.
Even though the company specifically added the donuts to mark the two legendary Pokemon’s appearances in the Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC, their designs also take inspiration from the 3DS remakes of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Groudon’s donut will have Strawberry and Black Tea flavors, while Kyogre’s will come with Banana and Lemon flavors.
Each donut will be available at ¥550 (~$3.50) apiece. The outlet will also offer a set that comes with a free sticker and pairs a donut with a Get Latte for ¥1,252 (~$8) or a Hoopa’s Ruby Chocolate Frappe with an Orange flavor for ¥1,414 (~$9).
