Third Arizona lease negotiated this year by WRA for leading Canadian teppanyaki concept
Scottsdale, AZ (RestaurantNews.com) Award-winning Canadian restaurant concept Edo Japanese Grill is now open at Scottsdale Fashion Square, marking the teppanyaki-inspired restaurant chain’s second, and most prominent, new U.S. location, and its brisk, Arizona-based U.S rollout.
The new restaurant is located in Palm Court, Scottsdale Fashion Square’s central gathering area and food court. It joins over 200 luxury and contemporary brands at the mall, which is owned by leading real estate investment trust Macerich Co. and spans 1.9 million square feet at 7014 E. Camelback Road, at the prominent corner of Scottsdale and Camelback Roads in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Now in its 46th year of operation and serving more than 12 million meals annually, Edo is one of Canada’s pioneering fast-casual, Japanese-inspired franchises, specializing in trademark teppanyaki-style cooking with made-to-order Teriyaki meals, bento boxes, noodle bowls, hand-rolled sushi, poke bowls, boba and more.

WRA has completed three Edo – Arizona leases this year. The brand’s first U.S. location opened earlier this quarter at 2780 W. Chandler Blvd., in the Chandler Festival shopping center near Chandler Fashion Center in Chandler, Arizona.
A third Edo Arizona location is expected to open in late 2026 within The Gilmore, a 36-acre mixed-use project being developed by Thompson Thrift at the northwest corner of Val Vista Drive and Germann Road in Gilbert, Arizona.
