4 Guys, 2 Cars on a 10 day road trip around Kyushu. Unscripted and unabashed.
Episode 3 (Day 3) We left Unzen Onsen Seiunso, driving down Mt Unzen towards the coast where we took a ferry across towards Kumamoto.
Regrettably, I realised I was missing quite some footage that I thought I would have recorded, but it could be that I didn’t record much that day since we were in the city going to malls and stuff.
Luckily there was a lot of banter that was recorded, along with a show we chanced upon at Kumamoto Castle. Very lucky, because again, these recordings were neither planned nor scripted!
The Blossom was a fantastic and beautiful hotel to stay in, right above Kumamoto Station. Katsuretsu Tei had a lesser known branch at Amu Mall, because its google listing is in Japanese only, hence we were fortunate to eat there without queuing. I have to say, it is as good as the influencers said it was. ESPECIALLY their jumbo tempura prawns. Mind-blowing.
Next episode we head back to Onsen Ryokans, but first stopping by Mount Aso, an active Volcano.
Filmed using Insta 360 Go 3 and Iphone 12 pro max.

Katsuretsu Tei (Several branches, most of which have very long queues, but the one we went to is at Amu Mall and relatively peaceful)
Make sure to order their ebi tempura (prawn).
