I rolled in around 10am (12/7/2025), and things were erie. I live a couple minutes away, and I'll often go over to the track during regular track days, and I've been on Laguna. In other words, I know the flow of things, and this was not that. Cars parked on the track, spaced apart quite far in some cases – as of time stopped.
Walking through a Parking lot of Skylines and GT-R35s in every generation, it was silent. I was looking for a specific car, a friend. I saw his plate, in the garage, and as I was headed in I saw a busted up (33 ?) by turn 11.
Went inside, met up with my friend, and got some of the story.
There was one car I wanted to see – this red GT-R. I took this picture last year. As we walked out of the garage and towards the wall, I saw it. Ugh
A bit of carnage in that session – I left shortly after they got things going again. I hope the rest of the day went well for everyone.
