Naomi Osaka surprised fans with her epic entrance at The Garden Cup in New York.
Madison Square Garden lit up with thrilled spectators eager to see the top tennis players.
On Monday night, the Japanese player faced World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka while Olympic medalist Tommy Paul battled former Wimbledon runner-up Nick Kyrgios.

Vogue’s former editor-in-chief Anna Wintour was in attendance, taking on the honor of presiding over the coin toss.
Unfortunately, Osaka was unable to pull off a win, falling short against the Belarusian player with a 6-4 7-5 defeat.
Before the excitement and energy ignited on the court, the four-time Grand Slam champion delivered an impressive move as she stepped out in a stunning look.

The 28-year-old dazzled as she brought back her iconic bow-embellished outfit. The custom-made black zip up jacket with a large white bow on the back perfectly matched her coordinating black skirt with a white layered tulle design, in collaboration with Yoon Ahn of the Tokyo label Ambush and Nike.

She also hinted at what was to come in an Instagram update, sharing a familiar-looking outfit.
“Tonight, NY,” she wrote.
The comment section was filled with fans who were excited to see Osaka with her iconic look.
“OMG the look is backkkk,” one wrote.
“Didn’t think I would see this fit again,” another added.
A follower commented a playful reaction, noting, “The bigger the bow, the better the serve.”
As mentioned, it was one of her most notable looks during the 2024 tennis season.
Besides the sporty black-and-white cottagecore outfit, Osaka also wore a similar look but in an eye-catching green and white ensemble.

At the time, she hit the arena in a white cropped bomber jacket and a playful lime green tennis skirt with a white petticoat underneath.
Of course, Osaka added a striking twist to her outfit with a large green bow on the back of her jacket.

“I think for me, when I put on the outfit, it’s almost like a super suit, so I try to channel that,” she told the media regarding her outfit choice for the 2024 US Open.
Unfortunately, she lost to Karolina Muchova in the second round with scores of 6-3, 7-6 (5).
Following the match, Osaka took to Instagram as she expressed her disappointment in her performance.

Moreover, she realized how much she had to be proud of, especially since it was only a year after she gave birth to her daughter, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend and Grammy-nominated rapper Cordae.
