CAIRO, Dec 6 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi affirmed the importance of Egypt’s educational partnership with Japan, highlighting the keenness to benefit from Japan’s leading experience in developing education.

The remarks came during the President’s meeting with a delegation of Japanese education experts visiting Egypt. Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif also attended the meeting.

Presidential Spokesman Mohamed al-Shennawy said President Sisi praised the experts’ contribution to joint educational projects—especially their support for Japanese schools in Egypt—expressing appreciation for the discipline and efficiency characteristic of the Japanese model.

The Japanese delegation thanked the President for his continued support, referring to the strong positive results achieved by the 69 Egyptian-Japanese schools over the past eight years.

The experts also expressed keenness to increase the number of classes and school levels within the project, and hire highly trained teachers to ensure the model’s success.

They emphasized that the Japanese approach aims to equip students with market-relevant skills and proper vocational guidance.

President Sisi stressed Egypt’s keenness to benefit from global educational best practices in line with the state’s vision for building human capital, calling for an expansion of Japanese schools and experts in Egypt.
