It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.

This week, we have a Japan Airlines Boeing 777-300ER on final approach to Chicago O’Hare International Airport as it completes the long trip from Tokyo.

Japan Airlines operates a fleet of 10 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates Airbus A350-900, Airbus A350-1000, Boeing 767-300ER, Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 in its widebody operation.

Together, they operate routes both domestically and internationally, connecting Japan to the world.

This aircraft – JA739J – was delivered to Japan Airlines in August 2008, making the aircraft just over 17 years old. The aircraft has remained in the Japan Airlines fleet since delivery. At the time of writing, the aircraft is based at Tokyo-Haneda Airport, operating recent flights to Sydney and Shanghai.

More Airplane Art next week!
