
Hankyu Railway and Hankyu Hanshin Properties will begin demolition work on the building of the former Osaka New Hankyu Hotel in mid-December.
The former Osaka New Hankyu Hotel, located in Osaka, Japan, opened in 1964 and closed after overnight stays on January 4 this year. The building has 11 floors above ground, 3 rooftop floors, and 3 basement floors. It housed 961 guest rooms, 7 food and beverage outlets, and 12 banquet halls. The total floor area is approximately 44,000 square meters.
The demolition work period is scheduled to last until autumn 2028.
