Kyoto’s BEST A5 Wagyu at Steak Otsuka!
Looking for the best A5 Wagyu steak of your life? Years ago, I had an unforgettable meal at Steel Suka, and I recently brought my husband so he could experience it for the first time. This restaurant opens its weight list at 9:00 a.m., and seating begins at 11:00 a.m. It’s also perfectly located near the Arishyama Bamboo Forest and the iconic Joji Temple. So, we made it to Stleds Suka. What this place is known for is the Murasawa Phantom beef. thing about Murasawa beef is that only 80 cows a year are used for that type of meat. Had it before. This was the best steak I’ve ever had. So, I’m excited to try that again. Um, with the exchange rate right now, it’s only 52 USD for a 160 g steak. And then the puppy’s going to get like a regular A5 Wagu because he’s not a big fan of the super fatty meats. So, we decided to get some sake as well. Um, I got the Dan and then N got the Tom Maggawa. I do tease the melon in mine. It’s like very sweet. A lot of things going on. Just like the description, it’s like a little sweet, a little smoky. We got his Wagyu sirloin. Smells good. This is the marala beef. Wow. And it comes with a set of rice and looks like radish as well. And then corn, potato, and broccoli and some sauces. We’re going to go ahead and take our first bite into this. Cheers. Mine is not that fatty, which is exactly what I wanted. It’s very juicy. Mine is like melt in your mouth. It’s so good. I actually like the fattiness. Yeah. So good. Trying it by itself first. Again, I’m surprised it’s not as fatty as I expected it to be. This is my second time trying A5 Waggy, and the first time I had it, it was way too fatty. But this one, it it’s very good balance of that meaty flavor with the fattiness. And it kind of just makes it extra flavorful and juicy. I think it’s really good. I just took a bite of your A5 sirloin. Not as fatty, but pretty good. The salt doesn’t come seasoned or salted, but adding the salt really elevates it. Now the question is, would you rather have had the marava or the sirloin? I’m okay with either. I think I prefer the sirloin or more of the meat flavor. I think I like the marava more cuz I do like that melt in your mouth meaty flavor. I think this was excellent. So good. I also just tried the radish. It compliments the meat so well. M. So, we ordered another steak. Um, N got the flat iron 120 g. I got another Maru Sawa. I do think this is the best steak I’ve ever had. It’s It is fatty, but it’s not like so fatty to the point where you can’t eat it. I think that the flavor of the meat is just so so good. Very good. It’s crazy how good it is. The second order of the marasawa. I got the miso soup. It helps wash down the the meat. Well, looks like it very juicy cooked to a perfect medium rare. But it has a nice bouncy chew to it, which is what I was looking for. I’m going to go ahead and try these. Now, [Music] now this is like a typical American steak, not as fatty, and you appreciate the flavor of the steak more. So, this concludes our time at Stokosuka. Still as good as I remembered.
