This includes the eagerly awaited JFC, Japanese Fried Chicken Feast, Just For Christmas and a brand new edition to the Udonut range, the Strawberry Shortcake flavour, inspired by Japan’s traditional strawberry Christmas cake a sweet treat set to become this year’s must-try seasonal dessert.

This year, from Thursday 4th December, Marugame Udon is inviting UK diners to join in the fun with its festive JFC feasts, exclusively available for delivery only. Offering exceptional value at a time when peoples are seeking affordable ways to celebrate, the Two-Person Feast is priced at £32.50 and the Four-Person Feast at £59.95, both filled with comforting favourites that make festive dining easy, generous and full of cheer.
Each feast arrives brimming with festive favourites, featuring a generous mix of Marugame’s signature HS Chicken Bites in both Teriyaki and Hot Honey, alongside comforting small bowls of Curry and Kake udon noodles to keep things cosy. The bucket also includes a crispy Chicken Katsu piece and a succulent Chicken Karaage piece for the perfect balance of textures and flavour, all finished with the festive Strawberry Shortcake Udonut.
Alongside the JFC celebrations, Marugame Udon is paying homage to Japan’s iconic Christmas cake tradition by introducing the limited-edition Christmas Strawberry Shortcake Udonut. In Japan, the strawberry shortcake is the symbol of the season, light, fluffy and filled with the sweetness of celebration and togetherness.
Marugame’s Udonuts take their inspiration from Kurisumasu Keki (クリスマスケーキ), the traditional Japanese Christmas strawberry shortcake that has become a symbol of celebration and togetherness across Japan. Reimagined with Marugame’s playful twist, each Udonut is made from light and fluffy leftover udon noodle dough and topped with festive flavours, including the classic Strawberry Shortcake, a warming Cinnamon & Strawberry and a vibrant Matcha & Strawberry. Priced at just £2.50, they offer an irresistibly joyful taste of Japan’s favourite Christmas dessert in every bite.
