[Music] Ask them to change the room if it’s possible. What a beautiful day. Today we are in Okinawa which located one of the most south part of Japan. Compared to Tokyo and Osaka, it’s much warmer. So even it’s November almost December but still warmer. So today we will explore this Okinawa island snow part which is the unique park and also aquarium and oceanside with the beautiful observatory. And tonight we are heading back to the airport area which is the south part of Okinawa, the main city over there. But tonight’s hotel, it was cost only 7,500 Japanese yen, which is about $40 US. Well, I’m not sure about the quality, but now is the time since there are not that many Chinese travelers and there are many cancellation of the hotel from the Chinese tourist. So maybe because of that, we are having the good deal hotel or maybe it is okay level hotel. We are not sure, but I’m kind of excited too. So, let’s see. All right, let’s go. There is a family m in front of the hotel. I want to grab something to drink. The coffee will be good. There are so many different kinds of bread, but probably we will eat something at the pineapple park where we are heading to. So, no bread. By the way, that’s the bee league, the basketball league. local Okinawa Ruku Golden Kings. Playing basketball in Japan is very popular. However, we didn’t have the National League of the Basketball. They started the National League, but still it is not as popular as the soccer neither the basketball. Hopefully, we will get the next rehashimura too. Anyways, this is my car. This is the car that I rent. So, let’s keep driving. All right. According to the GPS, it will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes because we are heading to the north part of Okinawa. We are in the middle part of Okinawa. So, it’s a bit far, but uh you know, one of the aquarium that I want to visit which is the Churumiang, it locates over there too. So, yep, we’re going to drive over there. Anyways, let’s keep driving. Wow, this street looks so Okinawa. It’s kind of fun to drive local street. I remember when I was driving in the Mako Island. There was pretty much nothing. No traffic light. It was very interesting. Yeah, that sounds like quite an experience. Those quieter island roads can feel almost surreal, especially with barely any traffic around. It definitely makes for a unique and kind of peaceful drive. Yep, that’s my friend. GBT. Absolutely. So, seems like we have arrived to the pineapple park because there are so many pineapple trees. I believe this is the way to go. Feels like already the pineapple ride has started. Am I really right truck? I don’t know. It says parking, right? It is a very narrow street and there’s a pineapple car in front of us. I’m wondering where are we heading? Oh yeah, he’s there. So it must be we on the right track. So keep straight. Okay, so hopefully we can eat the nice lunch or be paying up or something. Okay, so here we go. There is a big parking and it seems like there are many people over here, right? Let’s park somewhere. Maybe I can just park over here. Yeah. All right. So, it took about hour and 30 minutes by driving here from that Chhattang area. Basically, this pineapple park is for kids, but I believe there are many viewers that having a kids as well. So, this is something for you to find out something interesting in Okinawa. Maybe we can find something very unique over here. Anyways, let’s go check up. So, seems like here’s a ticket counter. Nago Pineapple Park. Welcome [Music] Pineapple Dance. So, the entrance fee cost 1,500 Japanese for adult, 800 Japanese for kids. Under 4 years old, it’s free. Oh, so I guess we got to ride that train now. Now we got the ticket. All right. It seems like finally it’s moving. Oh, let’s go. All right. It’s pretty interesting. So many pineapple trees. Well, still we need to go to the ocean observatory and also the aquarium. So, probably we just stay over here about an hour. Hopefully, we can find something. It is pretty bumpy. And now we are driving the street that we came from. And finally seems like we are heading to the entrance. All right. Seems like everyone walking this way. So must be this is the way to go. And that’s the entrance. So I think that’s a Okinawa style pineapple dance. And there’s a photo. That’s nice. So I guess we’ll ride on that pineapple car. So we can choose language over here. And this is the rider pineapple. Your pineapple event drive automatically doubles. They are explaining about the pineapple. About 2,000 pineapple varieties in the world including really 2,000 variety of the pineapple in the world. I didn’t know that. Oh, there’s a high viscus too. Well, if you are a big fan of the pineapple, definitely this is the place that you want to come. Now, dinosaurs don’t understand there. It’s dangerous, but with this pineapple car, it’s perfectly safe. That’s what they dinosaur. So, it reminds me Universal Studios Japan. Well, it’s a bit smaller compared to Universal Steel Japan, but the price is much cheaper as well. You know, it’s only 1,500 Japanese yen in a small entertainment. I think that’s good price. And now I think our adventure has completed. All right. Sweet. Ah, there is a beautiful garden with Caesar and with the pineapple mascot. What else we have? I think it’s almost finished, I guess. Big pineapple garden. Oh, one of the largest butterfly in Japan. The Okinawa butterfly. Interesting. So, we got to go here like this. Do they have butterfly? I can’t really find them. Oh. So, here we can enter and we can see the butterflies. Oh. Oh my goodness. It is a big butterfly. Actually, it’s huge. And I guess that’s a pineapple shop. Oh, they have a pineapple coffee. I’ve never heard it. Why not? Let’s do it. Uh, there are many pineapples over there. Sweet. We got it. Well, I like pineapple and I like coffee. However, I’ve never thought that I can mix it together. They told me we need to mix them first and enjoy. I always love trying something new. Interesting. [Music] But you know what? Actually, it is interesting. However, not that bad. First of all, you feel like the bitter coffee taste and after that, suddenly the sweet and sour pineapple flavor comes. So, exactly. You feel like drinking coffee and eating pineapples. Well, if you get the question that well maybe you can eat it separately. There’s a pineapple. Interesting. Mi and also pineapple cookie. 252 Japanese yen. And a dry pineapple. Also pineapple cakes and sisa with pineapple. Nice. They have all the stuffs with pineapple. Uh that sister pineapple t-shirts looks pretty cute, too. Oh, they also have the pineapple bar, but since I’m driving today, I can’t drink it though. So, this is a pineapple wine. Wow, interesting. I’ve never drink pineapple wine. It all looks pretty good. They have a sikosa drink, too. [Music] Pine beer and also sandwiches. And I guess this is a brewery. Let’s go check up inside. Oh, so that’s must be the winery here or blueberry. This place smells so wine. Interesting. And now we came back to the pine train. So let’s go back to the parking. Oh, the butterfly. Oh, actually she’s laying the egg on. Well, it is not a big place, but it’s pretty entertaining, especially you can learn a lot about Japan. So, if you are thinking of coming here, maybe you can spend the time like two to three hours. Well, I will explain about it later. But, uh this Okinawa, we have a Okinawa Toku Pu, which is kind of like, you know, discounted ticket for the entrance fee. So, if you use that, you can enter that pineapple park with a really good price. So yeah, definitely this place could be the option, especially if you are visiting the Churbistown, which is a big aquarium in Okinawa. Oh my goodness, what a beautiful sky. This place looks so Okinawa. And here we go, my car. Next, we are heading to the small island in Okinawa. There is a ocean to a beautiful observatory. We are heading there and hopefully we can eat something over there. something maybe. Okinawa. All right. Now, let’s drive to the beautiful island there. Let’s go. A beautiful scenery. I love driving in Okinawa. Let’s keep driving. Yeah. already when we are entering over here entertainment started love the concept you know I’m not really a big fan of the pineapple well I like pineapple though but you know not a big fan much but uh yeah from today on I am already big fan of the pineapple so thank you pineapple park anyways Let’s keep driving. Uh, seems like we were almost entering to the island area. Wow, it’s a beautiful view. Looks so Okinawa. Yes, look at the beach. No one is there. It’s beautiful. Nothing much around here. So I think this is a kind of countryside in Okinawa too. So nothing much black around here neither. Oh my goodness, look at this scenery. It reminds me so Mako Islander. Nothing over here. But the beautiful sky with so many natures. So Ky Island, that’s the island we are heading to still 5 kilometer. Oh my goodness. Look at the bridge and look at the ocean. It’s so blue. So, you see that building in front of you? That must be the ocean tower. Entrance fee is 1,000 Japanese yen, which is a bit expensive thinking about the Okinawa standard, but it must be beautiful. Hopefully, we can eat something over there, too, though. But we need to visit the churumisu zokang which is the big kakar in Okinawa the really popular one. So we will stay there about an hour. So I guess this must be the place. Oh seems like it’s crowded or maybe not that many breaking space over here. Can we find a breaking? Oh, actually there’s a space and also seems like many people are just leaving. So should be fine. I don’t think I can park from here. Finally. Well, I should have waited until the next car gone because it’s this tiny parking. I had to go front to back and front to back many times. But anyways, I could park it safely though, so that’s all good. So that’s the way for riding on the cart. But uh seems like there’s a long line. Actually, we can walk there by walking as well. Only takes 3 minutes. So why not? Let’s go by walking. And already it’s the entrance. So let’s go inside. Seems like there are so many different kinds of shell. Beautiful. Some of them are really big. And also another souvenir shop. Uh this turtle looks pretty good. 1,650 Japanese yen. And also the turtles so cute as well. So way to go to the observatory. So this is the second floor from here. Already very nice scenery. Yes, that’s the bridge we were coming from. We can go by the stairs too. So in the third floor seems like nothing different much. Maybe the difference there’s a small tree gate. How about in the fourth floor? Ah it’s a stunning view. Ocean is so blue. Also we can go upstairs. From here we can see the view without glasses. It’s a little bit windy but without glasses more beautiful. And also there is a bell to ring. There’s a line. So let’s ring the bell next time. So seems like this is it for the ocean tower and the shop and the factory. What they have? It’s the Okinawa Cori Island pumpkin mangju. Oh, again I got the sample. So it’s the pumpkin mu. It’s like a rice cake. No wonder still there’s a jack of lantern even after the Halloween because it’s pumpkin. Anyway, it’s very sweet but nice pumpkin flavor. Loving it. They also sell the sweets plus sparkling wines also. Okinawan. The fancy gashong. Uh, it is the chinskull. The chinskull is a really popular biscuit in Okinawan and Shimachin school island limited version. Interesting. Price is 1,274 Japanese yen. Nice. And the pineapple foods. Well, enough with pineapple though. Oh, and the pineapple wine. Huh. They’re selling it over here, too. Oh, look at this shisa bottle. Oh my goodness, that’s so cute. Sher with the pineapple trees. Nice. And there’s a restaurant. Let me see. Seems like they’re selling the pizza and the curry. It’s a nice place to eat, but I want to eat something like Okinawa. So, maybe we can try something different there. Oh, there is no line. So, why not? Let’s ride on the cart. So, let’s go back. He told me on the way to go back, it only takes 1 minute and 30 seconds, but the way to go up, it takes about 8 minutes. So, I guess it becomes like, you know, attraction over here. Probably it’s like the pineapple cart. Interesting. And already we came back to the downstairs. Ah, that’s Okinawa vending machine. There are so many drinks that I’ve never seen. The coffee, the wind of Ryuku. It’s something new. And also Okinawa pine juice. Also sequa, the citrus flavored juice. and also the hardest spark Okinawa color. All right, now let’s go to the Churumiang. Well, speaking of Cory Island itself is beautiful. There are many other spot too and you can visit the beach as well. Well, the observatory it is beautiful and interesting. However, if you have a place to go, probably you can visit here and the next time when you have time. Yeah. Well, it’s a good experience though and especially it’s close from the Churaui which is the aquarium that we are heading to. From here to Churumiang, it only takes 30 minutes by driving. So, it’s not that far neither. Especially the way to drive over here, it was so beautiful. If you have time and driving a car, I recommend you to visit this place as well. All right. So, let’s go. So, speaking of the Okinawa Island, basically this is a very popular spot for Chinese travelers because it is closed. There are so many Chinese travelers and also Korean travelers. However, as you guys know the situation now, I think because of that, there are much much fewer Chinese travelers over here in Okinawa. So I guess that’s the reason why there are so many spot that without Chinese travelers well still there are a few of them but compared to the regular season probably it’s much fewer so that’s why we can enjoy the Okinawa spot without crowds probably we are right on time to visit Okinawa. Yep. Loving it. So we are now heading to the next island. There are so many small island around here. So happy it become a beautiful day. Well, tomorrow we are heading to the Okinawa world where we can learn about the Okinawa and we can enjoy the Okinawa food. Hopefully it will not be raining tomorrow though. So now we arrived to the Chaumiang the aquarium’s parking compared to the other places. It is a huge spot, huh? Yep. It is one of the most popular amusement place. All right, finally. Well, it’s such a big parking lot. However, it was hard to find a parking spot, so it must be so many people inside the aquarium. Anyways, I want to find something to eat because we haven’t eaten lunch yet. So, let’s go find some restaurant. So, seems like this is the map of this park. We are over here and the chura is over here. So, we just need to go down. There are many other spot to horn. So, let’s go to check up other place too. Churra umi cider. I guess something special over here. Oh, it looks like ocean wave. That’s a playground for kids. Oh, yeah. Must be over there. Well, seems like no restaurant over here, though. By the way, the last admission of this aquarium 5:30. Now, it’s still 3:00 p.m. So, we still have plenty of time. Oh, yeah. It’s my first time visiting this Churagumi Aquarium. I’ve seen so many times on TV. Finally, I’m here. Oh, wait. Restaurant over here. Oh, it’s lunch time already closed. Let’s check up other place. That looks good. Compared to other places so crowded, but I believe compared to the busy season still much much better. I believe it’s Chinago spotted garden. Oh my goodness. So interesting you know [Music] interesting and it’s a Indian macal always swimming never stop so it was the neti the sea of tropical fish and then now we are heading to the kurosion sea kurroonumi We can see the whale shark and the manta ray. This is the tank. Oh my goodness. It’s huge. Oh my goodness. It’s a huge tank. Oh my goodness. Look at that whale shark. It’s huge. Wow. That manta is huge as well compared to the human in front. So probably we need to wait until the dinner time. It’s a bit dry but no bad. It is a tuna bench katu. Well, probably if it’s just deep fried, it would taste better, huh? That’s okay. In this park, there is also a dolphin show as well, but you know, the dolphin show is a controversial topic, so I don’t want to film that. Well, Japan has a kind of different culture compared to the Europe countries. So actually I didn’t know that it is a controversial topic at all. You know it’s just a different culture. However the last time when I filmed it now I know. Yep. Definitely. I don’t want to encourage anything about the animal abuse and I don’t want you to misunderstand it. So, there are not that many cars already. There are many spots already available. So, our hotel located at the south part of Ginawa, which is about 1 hour and 30 minutes driving from here. Before going back there, let’s go eat dinner. I found it looks pretty good Okinawa style restaurant. So, let’s go check up there. Seems like it’s inside the mountain. Hopefully, we can get there safely. Now, let’s keep driving. Well, there is a car navigation. So, probably we can get there without any problem. Should be. Anyways, I’m excited. Let’s keep driving. So this must be the way to get out. So we are going up the mountain now. Seems like nothing around here. Sometimes there is a house, but not that many stuff. Hopefully I’m on the right direction now. Well, we are going to the mountain. Pretty sure I can’t drive over here after it gets dark. Oh, so this must be the place I guess. Really? Is there parking? And now it seems like there is no place to park. All right. So I just went up to the restaurants and ask them where to park. So there’s a parking on top. So firstly we can uturn first and uh we can go up there. I’m not sure how to Uturn here though. So, we can just go in up over here. Oops. All right. And we can park here wherever we want. Interesting. Okay. So, let’s park somewhere. That easy to get out from here. Well, hopefully I can finish eating before it gets dark, though. Oh my goodness. Nothing. But it looks like a castle. Wow. Interesting. I’m just wondering what this place was. A good terrace. So, let’s eat. So those are the menu items. They have a au pork bowl and also one person shabu shaboo. That looks pretty good. And uh plus that’s a Okinawa so I think this is one of the most popular one in Okinawa food I guess. But seems like this one is something special for ginger rice bowl. That sounds pretty good. Okay, why not? Let’s order this. While they are making, let’s go check up outside. Ah, this is a traditional Japanese okimono which is a interior and we can see the town beautifully. It’s time of the sunset. It’s like the house seems like shrine though. They just told me still it’s under construction. Fixing the building and then try to make up the nice place. Nice atmosphere garden inside the restaurant. It’s nice atmosphere as well. All right. So, here we go. It arrives. Oh my goodness. It’s beautiful. It also it comes with the umi the sea grape plus and uh I forgot the name already. Well, they told me but I forgot the name. It is something special for Okinawa food. Oh my goodness, it’s so beautiful. [Music] So, this agu pork is a special okinoa black pork. It’s with a rich flavor and very tender meat. It’s famous in Japan as a high quality premium pork. It’s not smelly at all, but very tender. [Music] Uh they also told me this restaurant is just opened there and also renewing the menu items. Well, so maybe next time when we visit here, we can’t find this menu items. But yeah, I believe they are making something special with the Okinawa food. So it’s all good now. M. And also this one comes with the umi buto which is a sea grapes. This is something really popular in Okinawa. We can dip into the sauce and eat. It’s like the vinegar sauce. Um is really popular, but if you eat it in Tokyo, it’s pretty expensive. So whenever I visit Okinawan, I try to eat it because usually the restaurant serves with the um doughi. [Music] So I just wanted to ask about this dish name. Actually it calls kuichi. Well, it is okina direct. Kubu is the ku which is a seaweed and it is like a stairs that they told me. But this is more like pickled veggies. Let me try it. [Music] Mhm. It is very gentle flavor with the nice seaweed dashy. M very interesting. You know it getting dark. So probably we better eat quick. All right. I think it’s still before the sunset, but outside already it gets pretty dark, so let’s go back. [Applause] All right, seems like outside gets pretty dark. Hopefully we can go back safely though. But uh after arrive to the big street, it will be much easier to drive. So firstly, we got get out from this mountain. Let’s keep driving. Yep, this place looks like a roller coaster. They told me the easiest way to go back So from now I will just ignore the car navigation a little bit because I don’t want to go for the small street like the Mako island. So just want to use the big street. Okay. And here just turn left. Oh, you know what? Actually, it’s not bad at all. And now we’re at the regular street. I didn’t. Now we came back to the big street. I mean bigger street. So that means we don’t have to go for the mountain street. Now I can drive with peace. Happy. So now we are heading back to the hotel and it seems like the arriving time is 2 hours and 40 minutes from now. What? Maybe because of the traffic horn. I need to drive like 3 hours from here. Aya anyways. No way. So let’s keep driving or maybe we can stop by somewhere and then wait until the traffic gone. But it is just far so well. So maybe even if we wait at somewhere, it doesn’t change much. All right, finally we arrived. So when we return the car, we need to place this back here. Okay. All right. So I think this is it. All right. So finally we arrived and that’s the hotel that we are staying tonight because of a bit of traffic and I stopped by the company. Eventually it took 3 hours from this airport area to those area. It’s pretty far. Anyways hopefully the hotel is not bad though. Yes, it was about 7,500 Japanese yen per night, which is pretty good price. Let’s see. Well, so far seems like it’s a pretty clean hotel, though. There is a nice Christmas tree. How about inside? So, I guess that’s a restaurant area, but seems like it’s already closed though. And here we pick up the amenities. Oh, and also there’s a microwave. Maybe those are the rental cycle. Oh, thinking about the price. It’s a pretty good price, huh? All right, let’s go. So, this is the floor. Wow, it does look like the apartment. Actually, it’s pretty high. Kind of scary. So, that’s my room. Yeah, from the outside. It must be clean inside. So, there’s a place to take off the shoes and oh my goodness. It’s pretty clean. So, let me have a little bit of room tour. There is a big softer, the air purifier. Well, I have no idea what this is, but uh I guess something for the room, I guess. There’s a mug, kettle, and a small refrigerator. Okay, the tablet to order plus those are the remote control and bed. Beside the bed, there are two power outlet and the USB charger, middle size TV. At the entrance, the towels and the pajamas. There are places to hang the clothes. So, how about the bathroom? Oh, not bad at all. Actually, it’s pretty clean. Yeah, thinking about the price, only 7,500 Japanese yen per night. It’s pretty good. It is a shower toilet as well. Smell of drain here somehow. Maybe from this AC. Yeah, it doesn’t coming from the drain. I guess it’s coming from this AC probably. I will turn it off for a while. And I will open the door. Oh, actually I just realized it is the ocean view. Well, maybe not really. And I will try to open the door a little bit for a while. And this way I think the smell will be better. All right. Anyways, so let’s go to company. Oh, inside the hotel there’s a laundry room. Seems like laundry. It’s pretty new. There is a ice machine plus the vending machine. Speaking of the location, it’s about 10 minutes walking from the Asahibashi station. So, it’s a bit far from the station. However, thinking about the price, I think it’s pretty good. And uh after that, I realized that uh there is a kind of rice spot about several blocks away from here. So maybe that also the reason why it was cheaper but uh yeah from here definitely we can’t see that. So as long as if you don’t go that way well probably it will not bother you much. Next to this hotel there is a big hotel. Yeah this hotel looks fancier and according to the internet there is a company in this hotel. So we are just using the company in this hotel. According to the internet, even this hotel only cost 13,300 something Japanese yen. So probably I think because of the Chinese travelers cancellation. Now the Okinawa hotels getting cheaper. Yeah, it seems like pretty nice hotel. Yep, there is a company 7-Eleven over there. All right, so let me grab something to eat and drink. Ah, the Orion chuhai. We don’t have one in Tokyo. And also the Okinawa limited Arian IPA. Why not? Tuna with wasabi say sauce. Sounds good for tomorrow’s breakfast. Shrimp and the spicy or spaghetti salad. I think this is good for tonight dinner, the light dinner. And the kakip. I think this is already good enough with beer. I also got the tomorrow’s coffee and also the drink as well. All right, so let’s go back to the our hotel. So eventually I bought the stuff about 1,670 Japanese yen, which is pretty expensive for Japanese standard. However, you know, if you have visit Japan and if you use the company during your trip, you know how I feel, right? They have so many different kinds of interesting items. Especially in Okinawa, you know, even for Japanese, there are so many interesting stuff. So, I just got it. Especially it’s including my light dinner and also tomorrow’s breakfast plus, you know, tai. So, I think it’s shai. And already that’s our hotel over there. All right. And here we go. Yep. Still a smell of the drain. Maybe I can just let it open. Oh shoot. This sushi’s expiration day. It’s tomorrow morning 700 a.m. Well, usually this kind of stuff they usually have the discount, but maybe you know because we are at the touristy spot, so it’s shady. Yeah, if you bought it some stuff at the company for tomorrow’s breakfast. You got to be careful. Well, I think it should be fine. Well, I will eat it around 8:00 a.m. probably tomorrow morning. But, uh, yeah, I just want to let you guys know if you want to eat it for tomorrow afternoon, it’s already expired. So this one just pull it over here and just place it out. Open it and roll it out. T the sushi is ready. Okay. All right. It’s a capai. So one thing that I realized during this trip well I’m not sure because of its off season but definitely I think it is matter that because of the cancellation of the Chinese travelers now there are much fewer Chinese travelers and because of the cancellation of the hotels many hotels having a cheaper price. probably this hotel too. Now it only cost 7,500 Japanese yen, but probably during the busy season or when the Chinese travelers coming back, probably they will increase the price. Well, I just check it. Technically, this hotel there’s a swimming pool and the steam room, the sauna on top of the building. However, they will charge for the extra. So, you know, it doesn’t count for this time to stay. But seems like it is a good hotel though. Except smell. Yeah. Well, you know, for me, the smell of the hotel is really important. So, but yeah, thinking about the price. Yeah. It is though. Sushi rice means tuna with wasabi soy sauce. You know what? I actually couldn’t stand the smell. So asked them to change the room if it’s possible and luckily still there is availability. So they prepare for me the new room. Let’s go check up. Actually it two rooms next to it. How is it? Oh yeah. This room smells much much better. Well still a bit smell of the drain but compared to that definitely it’s much better. Yeah. In this room still I can stand. Let me move the stuff. All right. So, I moved all my stuff over here. They told me maybe because of the timing of the cleaning, the smell was stronger over there. That’s what they told me. But maybe there is a some room that having a stronger smell and then maybe less smell closer to the drain or something. I’m not sure. Or maybe they are just telling me the truth that because of the timing of the cleaning. However, definitely compared to that room and this room smells totally different. Anyways, you know, cleaning mistake. It’s show and I so definitely I take that. But the good thing is that they prepare for me the different room. That’s really important. I mean, at least they are trying the best service. So, yep, I consider it as a good hotel. Thinking about the price. Yeah, definitely thinking about the price. It’s a good deal. Anyways, so this is something extra. Let’s go back to the regular ending. So, all right. So anyways, so tomorrow will be the last day of Okinawa. Tomorrow we will visit the Okinawa park which we can explore the cave inside. After that we will visit the miniature museum. It’s like the it’s a small world in Tokyo. It must be pretty nice.
