SUKHUMVIT Street Food #1 Crab Fried Rice Bangkok, Thailand 🇹🇭 HIDDEN GEMS!
I love restaurants that catch their own seafood
and they serve it at their restaurant. So, give her a round of applause. Okay, look at
this. This is only about 30 some odd B. This place also is best of 2025. Super close, super
convenient. That’s the good thing about Bangkok, Thailand. You walk around, you find something
new just out of the blue. Right off of Sukumit. 11 out of 10. We’re going to start bringing
family here. A lot of people don’t really know about this place. What’s up,
guys? So, for today in this video, we’re hitting up the Sukum Vit area to
hit up multiple food spots that are super hidden gem. One of them we know it’s really
good. Two of them we haven’t been there. So, we’re going to go check them out because they
have really good reviews. So, let’s go. Let’s go. Ton of people at the BTS. Wow, it is crazy. So, the first destination that we’re going
to is right off of the Pong station. We’re going to exit one. When
you guys exit number one, make sure you go towards the escalator on MRA to
your side. That way, you don’t have to go around. First destination is the bakery
inside of a little alleyway. Guys, once you see the Robin Hood, you’re going
to make a right here. Sukumbit 33-1. So, it’s in this little small alleyway. That’s why it’s a hidden gem. I’m sure a lot of
you guys don’t even know about it. Let us know in the comments down below if you
do know about this place. And if you do, what’s your favorite item to buy here?
There it is, guys. Our first destination, Custard Nakamura. Best of 2025 on Lineman
and Wong Nai. They’ve been around since 1970. So, it’s a small little bakery and it’s early
in the morning. That’s why there’s not too many people here. But typically, anytime you come here,
it’s always a full house. Menchi katsu sandwich. This is really good. But it has pork and onions.
So, be careful because they pack a lot of onions in this thing. So, if you’re not a huge onion fan,
I would pass. They have other sandwiches here. Someone’s swore custard cream bun is the
best here. And this is only 28 bot. So we’ve had this before. The curry donut.
This is pretty good, too. Check them out, guys. They have a plethora of other breads
here. All sliced and ready to go for your enjoyment. They’re going for like 56 B. Really
cheap. Next item I’m going to get is the coffee bun. We love this thing. And this is only
32 bun, a dollar. We’re also going to get the shoe cream pie. This one 38 B. This guy
is heavy, too. They got these little mini muffins. Meline’s 180 B for the package. Got
butter rolls for 55 B. They have muffin top. Strawberry shortcake. They said they’re infamous.
So, we got to try. Explains why there’s only one. Okay. Credit. They also give you a
stamp card that’s good for a year. If you guys are looking for a birthday cake,
these look absolutely amazing. And the price point is very affordable here, guys. You
guys want some cookies, maybe you can buy this as a gift. It’s not bad. Like 174 all
the way to like 245 B. Got roll cakes here, guys. As you guys can see, more and
more people are coming in. No joke. Look at this. This is only about 30 some odd bot.
Can you believe that? This guy is massive. Huge. Look at the custard. Oh my god. Do you believe
how much custard there’s in in this bread? You got to be kidding me. Wow. Look at that. People
just continuously coming in. It’s ridiculous. People have said even on the reviews,
anytime they visit Bangkok, Thailand, they always have to come to Kuster
Nakamura and get their shoe cream. I see why. This is 10 out of 10. This is
amazing. The first time we ever came here, a lot of the breads were absolutely amazing. Until
this day, the consistency, it’s real. My turn. This shoe is not overly sweet. Perfect.
Perfect sweetness. And the consistency. Excellent. This one is 10 out of 10. Custard
Nakamura is a definitely a hidden gem. Now, let’s try this coffee bun. If you guys look
at it, there’s the bun here and then there’s like a coffee crisp on the outside. Almost
as if it’s like a light covered cookie. M. It’s exactly what it is. It’s like a top layer
of like coffee cookie. And then the bread itself, I don’t know if you guys can see, but the bread is
so nice and soft and fluffy. This is ridiculous. This is also 10 out of 10. This is amazing, guys. This will go perfect with the morning coffee.
10 out of 10 as well. Now, let’s go to our next destination. So, Kasu Nakamura, it was only like a
5 to 10 minute walk just to get here. Super close, super convenient, right off of Sukumit.
It’s the perfect hidden gem in a small alleyway. A lot of people don’t really know
about this place. So for our second spot, it’s even closer. So that’s where Kuster
Nakamura is. Turn around. And then here’s Coobe Tonteki. A lot of people swear by this
place, guys. And the last time we were here, man, there was a massive line.
We couldn’t even try it out. Here’s their menu. This is what everyone
tries. And this place doesn’t accept credit cards just like Kuster Nakamura. It’s
cash only or scan payment. Right there, guys. Right across Kobe Ponteki, there’s
a second street shop. I had no idea. You can buy and sell used clothes. This place also is
best of 2025. Users choice linemen and Wong Nai, but we’ve never been here before. So, we
hope that they’re good as people say online. Some people even went as far as saying
that this is just as good as if they were eating it in Japan. I don’t know. That’s
a pretty bold statement, but we’ll see. This is what we’ve been waiting
for. The large set. Yes. Yeah. So, we heard that like the katsu is pretty decent
here, but everyone comes here for this guy. So, we have to try this out. People
have been saying this is the best home tech here in Bangkok, Thailand.
Going to try the best of the best. They got like the cutest menu here. Look at all
these drawings on the table. It looks like you get two different type of sauces. This one kind
of looks like soy sauce base with oil and this one is sesame dressing looking one. Along with
those, you got the salt and we also got some pickled veggies and I like the fact that we have
packaged chopsticks. I do have to say the decor in here definitely makes it feel like we’re in
Japan. Here’s our dish with some sauce. So, we ordered a set. It comes with soup, big
bowl of rice along with the main dish. That sesame dressing, one of our favorite. Now, let’s try this pork. What is this all about?
It does look amazing and very tender, too. Okay, good. The pork itself is supposed to be,
I believe, medium. It looks medium. It’s nice and juicy, tender. For us, we’re nip kickers. Even
the rice is really good. It’s the Japanese thick, fluffy rice. That rice is cooked to perfection.
This overall, I have to give it a 9.5 out of 10. I like it. I see why a lot of people come
here and why there’s always a line. Cheers. M pork is so tender and juicy and
this garlic just melts. 9.5 out of 10. The miso is really rich. I wasn’t
expecting a rich, deep miso soup, but this one is excellent.
Let’s try the pickled veggies. Even the pickled veggies is really
good. Reminds me of the ones that we had in Japan. Excellent. I
don’t know if you guys can tell, but Caroline is sick and she refused not to
come out and film this video for you guys. So, give her a round of applause. Okay. She’s
a trooper. Let’s try some of this mustard. It’s like mustard with coffee. Kind of helps
balance the pork, but it kind of really depends on your liking. That’s not bad. We just got done
eating. There’s already a line, guys. Check it out. Right off the bat, Koo Tekki. Already a
hidden gem. You got two hidden gems that are right down the street from each other. Absolutely
amazing. Right in the center heart of Bangkok, Thailand. Kong, exit one. 5-minute walk, guys.
Now we’re going to another location. This one, it’s right in between Pong and Tonglor. There’s
no point in taking the BTS, so we’re just going to walk there. It only takes about 10 minutes.
This next place is a Thai restaurant that you’re not going to want to miss. We’ve heard so many
good things about it. Hopefully, it’s really good, guys. So far, we’re two for two. It is another
beautiful day here at Bangkok, Thailand. I do have to say when the weather is like 80° that’s perfect
for us, man. If it could be 80° here in Bangkok, Thailand all the time, I feel like I could
live here forever. And during winter season, we actually get a breeze. And this breeze
feels good. Typically in Bangkok, Thailand, you get the breeze, but then you get that hot
breeze. But today is pretty cool. I like it. Got Bangkok traffic. Look at that. So what
we forgot to mention at Kuster Nakamura we spent about like 250 bot and then at the copi we
spent 365 bot. So so far we spent approximately 600 bot which only comes out to be about like
a little bit under $20 guys. Not bad. Not bad. We’re coming up to our next destination. But I got
to say, just walking from Pong towards Tonglor, there’s a lot of places that I haven’t seen
before. I’ve even seen like a little place where they have like bags and then you could customize
them right then and there. And then they were cheap. They had like a custom tailor shop that
look pretty nice, too. You guys are into suits. That’s the good thing about Bangkok, Thailand.
You walk around, you find something new just out of the blue. Bunch of hidden gems. Guys, we are
coming up on our third location. Original crab fried rice. This place is called Inkin Sukong 47.
They’re really known for their premium crab fried rice. People have also mentioned their river prawn
is delicious, their crab scrambled eggs over rice, their curry, and also we heard that
their fam is really delicious as well. So, they’ve been around since 1975, guys.
They have a lot of other items as well. Look at the appetizer list, guys. 50 years
of happiness. This must be their story. Wow. Okay. I love restaurants that catch their own
seafood and they serve it at their restaurant. That’s amazing. Can’t get any more fresh than
that. This is not just a menu. It’s history. Can I get the premium uh crab fried rice?
One. And then uh this one right here. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. Already as soon as we
entered the service is amazing. Even at Kicki, their greeting and their service was
amazing as well. I don’t know guys, these are some truly hidden gems. I hope their
food is just as good as their service here. As soon as we placed an order,
they brought out sauces. While we’re waiting for our food, let us know
in the comments down below if you guys have been here before. If you have, which one is your
favorite dish? We really wanted to try the toyang, but honestly, I don’t think our stomachs
can handle that right now. And typically, we would order more. It’s just Caroline is not
in the best condition right now. So with that, we kind of want to limit the amount of
food that we order. So we got the crab fried rice. And check this out. Look
how much crab they give you. This is absolutely beautiful. Wow. That is some dojo
line. Look at the crab meat. Oh my gosh. That is so good. They must have
just brought that from the ocean. Even the rice is really good. That’s 10 out
of 10. The crab itself nice and big and lumpy and juicy. Very nice and soft and tender. The rice
cooked perfectly. This is just absolutely amazing, guys. This is by far probably one of
the best crab fried rice that we’ve had. You have to come here to King Sukumb 47
and order this. This is a must. I see why everyone raves about it. This is just
not talk. This is legit, guys. Legit. You know, I have to do the sauce. Wo, that’s amazing. 11 out of 10. Look at
this curry crab. They give you so so much crab here. Oh my gosh, they’re so generous.
Wow. Looks amazing. Let’s try it on its own. So creamy, so savory, delicious. We’re going to start bringing family here. It just keeps getting better and better and
better. We’re already three for three. These are three hidden gems that you guys need
to try out when you come here to Bangkok, Thailand. We’re going to try something, guys.
Crab fried rice with a little crab curry. Oh my lord. Do Do you see this? Oh my god. Oh. Oh
my god. I’m salivating. Oh my goodness. Wow. Really delicious. Wow. There’s a smile on my face. When your family visit here, for sure, bring them here. So good. They’re
going to love it here. Okay. Wow. I feel like I’m getting better already. I don’t know if you guys noticed, we’re literally
right on the street. There’s a sidewalk here and then there’s this street, Sukum, right here.
If you guys want to come here, exit Tonglor, which is a lot closer to this restaurant. If
you’re coming from Pong, you might as well walk. It was really only about 10-minute walk. Very
close by. approximately like 7 800 m away. Wow, that was amazing. The amount of crab that they
give you here extremely generous. The total came out to 9.88, which is 30 USD. Overall, it’s
not going to be the cheapest, but honestly, the quality alone well worth it. Oh, yeah. We are too
full to hit up any more places. If you guys know of any hidden gems, let us know in the comments
down below. We’d love to check them out. These are some of the ones that we researched, we found, we
read all the reviews, we saw the recent pictures, and I got to say, the reviews were legit. With
that being said, guys, we thank you guys so much for coming along with us. We’ll see you in
the next one. Peace. Next time, I’m trying this
Bangkok vlog that you’ve been waiting for!

I usually visit this bakery when I’m craving Japanese combini snacks. I haven’t tried Kobe Tontek yet. Maybe on my next trip along with Kin Kin.

I hope that by the time this clip is released, Caroline's condition will have improved a lot. I wish you all good health, the cold weather brings something with it.
Sukhumvit 33/1 is Japan Town. i don't know if it's an official title like China town or Korea town but locals call it that.
I don’t think I’ve ever had KinKin, I’m sure I’ve heard of it. It looks divine though. I’ll absolutely go there.
I still feeling surprised everytime I see her new haircut…. I know it has been weeks or even months but I still got used to her longer hair. 😅 Guess that’s the whole point people changing hairstyle 😊 Beautiful

Sukhumvit 33/1 always famous since 20-30 years ago.
Wow! I’m on a diet right now… but after watching your food adventure videos at this hour, I’ve officially postponed my diet plan until AFTER I chase down all those yummy spots! 🤣🍽️
I’m Thai, yet somehow I’ve never been to any of those places… shame on me! 😂

2nd street is a Japan store.. just like a thrift store in USA, sell an used clothes, accessories and stuffs etc. and in the meantime they buy you an unused stuffs too. I often sell my unused stuffs here, of course after getting the money I buy them more again😂
BTW, have you tried Michelin pork noodles soup in Sukhumvit 26? Just Prompong exit 4. It's so good.

Get well soon Caroline!
