【京都一人旅vlog】秋の嵐山で巡る絶景とグルメ|写真好きの聖地・パンとエスプレッソと・世界遺産

Good morning! Today I’m taking a solo day trip to a scenic spot in Arashiyama, Kyoto, known as a “photography lover’s mecca.” After a two-hour drive , I arrived in Arashiyama. This trip brought me a new video camera. I arrived yesterday, excited to walk around Arashiyama with my new companion. My camera shaky on my last trip to Kyoto, so I decided to take the plunge and buy one. I hope to deliver beautiful footage to you! This is the parking lot I used this time (Tenryuji Temple). It ‘s listed as a recommended parking lot on the official website. Parking is 1,000 yen from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Let’s head to our first destination. It’s just before 9 AM, and Arashiyama is still quiet. I spotted a restaurant I’d seen on TV: a tofu donut and rolled omelet set meal. It looks delicious! I walked relying on Google Maps and arrived at my first stop of the day – Bread, Espresso and Arashiyama Garden. I wondered if I could get in without a reservation…so I decided to go in. It seems you check in via a machine. At 9am on a weekday, there were 12 groups waiting…!! I decided to check in for now . What seating preference…I guess I ‘ll leave it at that for now. The morning menu was sumptuous and looked delicious. It ‘s a very popular restaurant, so there were many tourists waiting outside too . I wonder how long the wait will be for 12 groups… Right next door, there was a shop called Bread and Espresso. I went inside. It looked delicious! It’s like a work of art. If there’s a long wait for breakfast, you can buy this bread and eat it outside. It has a thick and large roof. While I was waiting, I decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. There are various shops within walking distance. It’s a perfect day for an outing . The autumn leaves are starting to change color and are beautiful. Today is November 12th, and the minimum temperature is expected to be 7 degrees and the maximum temperature is 18 degrees. It’s cold in the mornings and at night, but during the day it’s a comfortable season where you don’t need a thick coat. It’s about time to go back to the store. It seems that I was called in after about 30 minutes. I ordered using a QR code on my smartphone. I put my camera in a semi-private room and took a break. I feel so relaxed. The breakfast has arrived and it looks delicious. The hot dog was a white sauce flavor. The cheese and yogurt were also excellent. It was a happy moment to be able to eat plenty of vegetables in the morning. Everything was excellent, and I could see why it was so popular. I thought about giving up, but I was glad that I was able to go in. With my stomach full, I headed to today’s main spot, Yusaitei. Yusaitei is apparently known as a “holy land for photography lovers.” Even if you can’t go right now, I hope you’ll enjoy this video with me. In the previous video, I showed you the noka at Yusaitei. We’ve provided a full web version, so if you’d like to see more details, please take a look. About 15 minutes from Togetsukyo Bridge, we arrived at Yusaitei. Yusaitei requires a reservation and is booked via a QR code emailed to you when you make a reservation. Prices fluctuate during busy seasons like the autumn leaves. On this day, prepayment is required, so it cost 2,000 yen. Finally, I was about to enter the place I’d always dreamed of, standing in front of the entrance. The view was already spectacular. Once inside , it was a tense moment… I took my shoes off and entered the room on the right. Enjoy the beautiful refrain of Yusaitei. The fun passed by in a flash. It took about 40 minutes, taking my time and enjoying the photos. Apparently, beautiful glass polka dots are also on display in early summer, so I’d like to visit again. Ah, it was fun! After this, I didn’t have any plans, but I decided to take a stroll around the town of Arashiyama. Arashiyama, which was quiet in the morning, was starting to get crowded. I came to Kimono Forest, which is lit up at night, creating a magical atmosphere. There were cute cards on which you could write your wishes. I returned to this shop to enjoy my favorite crepes. They had crepes, espresso, and six different options. It seems that everything is made with matcha dough. I ordered sweet potato brulee and custard cream. They bake it right in front of me, so I can enjoy the live feeling. I wanted to have coffee with it, but they don’t have any drinks. The dough is baked thoroughly, so it’s recommended for those who like it crispy. It ‘s almost done, so I’m excited ! It’s so heavy! Should I eat it inside? Maybe outside would be good too. I’ll eat it inside after all (which one?). This is the eat-in space. After eating the delicious crepes, I went to Tenryu-ji Temple. This is the place where I borrowed a parking lot, and it’s the last spot of the day. A stroll through the garden costs 500 yen. There was no wind, and it was really pleasant. It was a lovely day. There was a restaurant inside. Tenryu-ji Temple is so large that if you walk around aimlessly, you’ll lose track of where you are. There were also a lot of students there on a school trip. Wow, it’s huge! It seems you can enter the main hall for an additional 300 yen. The beautiful scenery is soothing. After strolling around Tenryu-ji Temple for about 30 minutes, I decided to head home. It was a lovely day that moved me deeply with the beautiful scenery and delicious food. Thank you for watching until the end!! This channel introduces places that you’ll want to visit on your next holiday, mainly in the Kansai region. I hope to see you again on your next outing.
