This week’s Tama City Council meeting started with a bark and a howl as the first item on the agenda was a shelter house for the dog park. The council approved the purchase of a “cattle shed lean-to” at a price of $4,050.

The council approved an update to the culvert repair and replacement contract for an additional $35,500.

The council decided to table the resolution awarding private placement of general obligation corporate purpose bonds, series 2025. If a decision is needed before the next meeting, they gave the mayor and the clerk permission to make it.

The council approved waving the 80-hour max sick time rule and to allow other employees to donate their sick time as an employee is soon to face surgery.

There was a small update on the library project.
