Japan’s Best Winter Resort! A 3-Day Stay at Risonare Tomamu in Hokkaido【Subtitles】
This video was filmed from March 6 (Thu) to March 8 (Sat), 2025. We take the train from Minami-Chitose Station to Tomamu Station. We arrive at Tomamu Station in one hour. A bus bound for Tomamu Resort is waiting for us. After about 10 minutes from the station, we arrive at RISONARE Tomamu. Check-in Heading to the room we’ll stay in tonight. Suite Triple Room For 1–3 guests / 100 m² / bath & toilet / non-smoking, no shoes inside All rooms at RISONARE Tomamu are suites. I’m looking forward to soaking in this jet bath. Bath additive (for bubble bath) Sauna Shower room Air purifier and humidifier. Fill this bottle with drinking water and bring it back to the room. There’s a water dispenser at Books & Cafe on the first floor. Walking around inside the hotel. Orange juice and tea. Coffee and black tea. Books and newspapers are available. Kids’ room Lockers for hotel guests The size fits two snowboards. Changing room Rental shop (ski & snowboard) You can reach the ski slopes right after leaving the hotel. From above, it’s about here. There’s an ice machine on the second floor. A remote work space is on the 30th floor. The view is amazing. There’s also a meeting room. It’s time for dinner. This is the dinner venue for today. Tonight we chose the buffet. You can enjoy freshly baked pizza. Freshly grilled steak. These are toppings for soft-serve ice cream. We’re heading to the bath. The large public bath is here. The bath is inside this pool facility. Hotel guests can also use the pool (11:00–20:00). This is the large public bath. We take the bus back to the hotel. Back to the room, then time for bed. Good night. Good morning. Breakfast at the hotel’s top-floor restaurant. You can reserve breakfast here at check-in. Each person can choose one main dish from this menu. Beef stew and yukhoe rice bowl. Now it’s time to enjoy snowboarding. There are many guests who don’t ski, too. We take the gondola up to the summit. We go to a café at the top of the mountain. Unkai Coffee Let’s step out onto the terrace. We walk about five minutes from the café. Cloud Bar (Cloud Bar) Cloud Walk (Cloud Walk) We walk around. Lunch at the Resort Center. There’s also a restaurant on the upper floor. Udon noodles and rice balls. Taiyaki (fish-shaped cake). Hokkaido powder snow! We head back to the hotel. You can ski right up to the front of the hotel. Taking a break at the hotel café. Heading out for dinner. Hotalu Street just outside the hotel. Many restaurants line this street. Let’s have dinner here tonight. The ramen was really delicious. We buy dessert to take back. The daifuku was delicious. We visit a winter-only Ice Village. Buses run around the resort area from morning until night. This is the Chapel on the Water. In summer, weddings are held here. A church designed by architect Tadao Ando. The winter-only Ice Village. Ice slide. Ice ramen!? (ramen in cold soup) Ice ramen. Ice post office. Postcards. Writing the address on a postcard. If you put it into the ice postbox, it will actually be delivered. Ice general store. This is a boutique. Ice bar (Ice Bar) Frozen cake and cream soda. There’s also an ice church and an ice hotel. It’s very cold, so please dress warmly. Hotel guests can enter for free. The Ice Village is open from 17:00 to 22:00. We go back to the room and take a bath. Good night. Good morning. Breakfast buffet here. I love French toast. This French toast is so good! We check out and enjoy some snowboarding. We head out for lunch. You can ski directly into Hotalu Street. We chose this place for lunch. A hamburger we always eat when we come to Tomamu. We visit a café a little away from the ski area. We go to a café located here. There are many activities to enjoy here. Even without skiing, there’s plenty to enjoy in Tomamu. You can also go horseback riding. We go into a café. Finally, we have cheesecake before heading back. The neighboring hotel “Tomamu The Tower” is in a past video. There’s also a past video introducing the ski area. We change clothes and pick up our luggage. We take a bus back to New Chitose Airport. It was a very fulfilling three days. Thank you for watching until the end.
