Tokushima Prefecture will operate the “Tokushima PR 0 Yen Bus” on selected days from December 20 to January 25, 2026.
This is a free one-way bus from Osaka to Tokushima. Passengers can ride for free on the condition that they answer questionnaires before and after the trip and cooperate by posting on social media during their travel. Eligible passengers must live outside Tokushima Prefecture, and participants must be junior high school students or older.
Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. After the advance slots for holders of the “Invitation to Tokushima Prefecture Coupon” are filled, general reservations will be accepted if seats remain. The coupon is valid only for the holder, and one coupon allows the holder to accompany up to three people who do not have the coupon. At the time of application, applicants must attach an image showing the coupon number and the holder’s name. On the travel day, passengers must present the coupon and an ID document for identity verification.
The bus will operate on December 20 and 21, and on January 10–12, 17, 18, 24, and 25, 2026. The boarding location is the Umekita Green Place bus parking lot at JR Osaka Station. The first bus departs at 9:30 a.m., and the second bus departs at 10:30 a.m. There will be no return service from Tokushima to Osaka.
