Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau

Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are slowly working through a bucket list of tourist attractions, it seems. So far, they’ve crossed off Crazy Horse in Paris — where they hard-launched their relationship on Perry’s birthday — and now they’re immersing themselves in Japanese culture by attending a sumo-wrestling show together in Tokyo.

According to “Page Six,” the couple dined together at Asakusa Sumo Stable Annex earlier this week. The venue puts on a sumo-wrestling show while attendees enjoy traditional gourmet cuisine and sit on enormous leather couches. The experience also includes the opportunity to compete in “a serious match” against a professional sumo wrestler, according to the venue’s website, although it’s unclear if Perry or Trudeau participated. They did, however, arrive dressed for the occasion in matching sporty Adidas sneakers and baseball hats. Trudeau is likely in town to attend Perry’s Tokyo show on December 3 — I’m sure he’s excited to hear “Firework” again.

The singer and the former prime minister of Canada have been linked since July after they were spotted dining at a seafood restaurant in Montreal. If Trudeau tags along to Perry’s next international performance in Abu Dhabi, they’ll need another attraction to hit. Might I suggest the world’s fastest roller coaster at Ferrari World?
