Osaka City Bus has launched operation of the “Midosuji Liner” on December 1.
The route starts from Osaka Station Front (Osaka-eki-mae), passes Osaka Metro Honmachi Building and Shinsaibashi in central Osaka, and then returns to Osaka Station Front. The required travel time is about 20 minutes from Osaka Station Front to Shinsaibashi. Four services operate on weekday mornings and four on weekday evenings. The bus is reservation-free but has a fixed seating capacity of 21 passengers.
The fare is 300 yen for adults and 150 yen for children. Payment is accepted in cash or with transportation IC cards. Various discount services, the “Osaka City Senior Citizen Preferential Pass,” and the “Free Pass” or “Discount Fare Certificate” issued by the Osaka City Government cannot be used.
