Walking in Hamamatsu at Night: Chitose Town to Yurakugai on a Busy Friday

I’m on a journey toward Osaka, passing through several towns before eventually returning to Tokyo.
After leaving Aichi Prefecture and entering Shizuoka, the final stop of this trip is Hamamatsu City. Since it was a Friday night, the area from the station to the city center was filled with people, creating a lively atmosphere. Watching groups of cheerful, tipsy people walk around made the night feel even more enjoyable.
I started my walk in Chitose Town, located just a short distance from the station. Because it was Friday, many people who had been drinking were out on the streets. A spot where an incident occurred in July also seems to have reopened. After exploring Chitose Town a bit more thoroughly, I headed toward Yūrakugai, which has a noticeably younger crowd compared to Chitose. The nightlife district was buzzing with energy, with club promoters standing along the streets.
One thing that stood out was the number of people entering “Aisekiya” (a social matching-style bar). I was surprised by how frequently people were coming and going—especially the steady stream of young women heading inside.
