india to japan 14 days itinerary travel guide with budget

Japan is wellknown for its technology and also for its rich cultural heritage you can see a perfect blend of modern technology and traditions here .And this is the reason why every year many people come to visit JAPAN if you are also planning to visit japan soon & looking for a simple travel guide then this video is for you.Im going to cover few important topic in this video like Best time to visit japan,Stay,Transportation, currency Activities & budget. So do watch this video till end most people visit japan in Spring (March -Arpil) and Autumn season (Oct-Nov) As weather is pleasant and favourable for exploration Spring is famous for Cherry blossom when you can see flowers bloom everywhere This is also known as sakura season and a beautiful time to visit japan In Autumn you can see leaves changing colours and is a great attraction in itself but remember in these two season it will be really crowded and most of the hotels are sold out/ booked way in advance SO if you want to visit in Spring/Autumn you’ll have to plan ahead in advance summer season which starts from may till sept its warm and gets more hotter in July which lasts till August As there are school holidays in summer there are lot of family holiday goers in this season many summer festivals are also organized during this time. And in winter season which starts from December to february and you can see snowfall at various places this season witness less tourists as compared to other seasonइ but if you love playing in snow or love Skiing you should definitely visit japan in winters. So Spring and Autumn in the time when most tourist visit …… japan. seems small when seen on world map nut on contrary its land mass size is vast and hence it takes time to cover entire japan …… ….. …. and day trip to Mt fuji ,Nara ,Hakone Kamakura etc Weather is quiet unpredictable some times so might have to change plan have some buffer time in hand. Also i’ll recommend to plan atleast for 10/12 or 15 days and if you have plenty of time then … Sample itinerary given in video ahead.pls check …… you can find all types of accommodation in japan whether luxury ,mid range as well on budget if you are a solo traveler you can find good and neat hostels here and if you have bigger family you can also find nice guesthouses and apartments if you want an accommodation near station you’ll have to increase your budget as the stay near station are expensive ….. …. book your stay near train station as you’ll mostly travel by train within city as well as outside city as train network is really good and taxis are expensiveअच्छा है और टैक्सीस काफी and you don’t have to walk a lot with you luggage room size and bedsize here are generally small so always check before booking your stay if you have a big family recommend you to book guesthouse/Apartment ……. check for laundry facility at your stay so you don’t have to pack lots for clothes for the trip one more advice, as the check-in time of hotel late like 3:00 – 4:00 p.m so plan your travel /day accordingly otherwise make use of locker facilities for storing bags you can find lockers at stations easily. or search on google maps about nearest available lockers …… i have mentioned here the best areas to stay in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto i have also provided links in description box of hostels/hotel I stayed during my japan trip please check ….. if you want to travel from one city to another like for ex:Tokyo to Osaka then taking a bullet train is the most efficient and convinient option it is also known as Shinakansen and the ticket prices are a bit expensive compared to bus and flights. But I will still recommend travelling in Shinkansen as the best option. Earlier most traveller used to buy JR pass but the prices for the same have increased since 2023 so i would not recommend buying it rather buy an individual ticket you can buy Shinkansen tickets at station or also through online websites buy reserved seats ticket if you are carrying more luggage i have already made a video on ” How to ride Shinkansen” and Shared link in Description box. Please check. it is very easy to travel within Japan just buy an IC card like(Suica/Pasmo etc) so you dont have to buy tickets each time you can buy IC card at Airports or at any big train stations this IC card can be used in Buses and trains as well as any convinience store like 7-Eleven for shopping Do not get confused by looking at Tokyo’s train map these are colour coded lines because these are operated by different companies but are interlinked but as a tourist you will mostly used green line which is JR Yamanote line which covers central tokyo I have made a separate video on “How to use IC card”.link is in Description box please watch it. mostly you’ll have to use local bus in kyoto more than tokyo or osaka as train lines doesn’t cover all of Kyoto you can also plan to fly domestic airways within japan as the prices for few routes are cheaper than a Shinkansen ticket few low cost airlines are also there like Jetstar which offers deals some times so you can explore …… japan also has luxury buses also known as highway buses.can be booked online ticket prices are also cheap so ypu can save money but its a full night journey and buses are semi sleeper so its bit uncomfortable to sleep and not as comfortable and convinient as train. willer and JR bus and they have an extensive network across japan these buses are fully airconditioned, offers wi-fi facility and also has toilet inside it. so if you want to save money then travel in bus …. if you are only planning to visit big cities like tokyo ,oska and kyoto no need to rent a car but if you want to rent a car in japan then it has few disadvantages like parking is expensive as well as road tolls are also very expensive japan’s official currency is Yen and it looks like this credit and debit cards also accepted at many places in japan but if you want to shop from small shops or restaurants or street shops then you have to pay in cash so its always carry a little cash with you. also carry a coin purse with you because by the end of trip you will accumulate many coins while travelling to japan you can carry US dollars with you and can exchange it in japan you will get good exchange rate at airport you can also use 7-eleven ATM at airport to withdraw money.Throughout japan. most tourists withdraw money from 7-Eleven ATM as they give one of the best exchange rate you can also carry an IC card with you for travel and shopping digital payment apps like Rakuten ,paypay ,line pay are also used but they are not used everywhere and you also need a local number to use these you can access free wifi in japan at few places like cafes ,Stations and inside shnaksen trains as well but the speed is slow An E-sim is also a good option which you can buy from any online website and activate it before coming to japan and no need to change to physical sim bought my E-sim through Klook. if you want a physical sim then buy it at airport or any convinience store like 7-Eleven or book online through klook and collect it at airport pocket wi-fi is also very common option which will allow you to connect many devices on single network its a rental device so you have to return the device before departure tokyo ,kyoto and osaka has lots of attractions but there are many activities & experiences which you should not miss I am going to list those out here Ninja samurai museum and Experience centre hand made ring workshops watch sumo wrestling match and also experience traditional japanese tea making ceremony there are also digital immersive museum like Teamlabs planet and borderless which i enjoyed alot. and also experience street go-karting if you have an international driving permit with you I have given sample itinerary for japan here for 13 days you can alter it to make your own itinerary japan is considered an expensive country but if you plan it properly , you can definitely make it a budget trip too my 15 days japan trip total cost was 1,60,000 INR the most expensive part of trip was my return flight ticket which 70,000 INR …. i carried few snacks and food items with me so my total cost for food was 13k INR tried covering few important topics but i haven’t covered it in detail so incase you have any queries.please feel free to ask in comment section

  1. This was very informative video but could you tell me how much bank balance you had at that time? My sister has almost 4 lakh in her bank account and we’re planning to apply Visa this 15th or 18th march for our May trip. Is 4 lakh enough balance? And could you tell me more about “business owner need company registration copy and covering letter on company letterhead” because my sister has been doing consultancy and policy business on her own. She is a businesswoman so I think this documents will be needed. I just don’t know in details about which ones and what stamps are required. Please let me know when you get free maam.

  2. And I also want to know as a 20 year old, college student. Do I have to write my own itinerary, cover letter or anything? Or one applicant is enough (my sister who is 26 years old). I’m going with her so what documents do I need and do I have to submit my college ID card/ xerox? Only 10/15 days are left so I’m planning to collect complete documents to avoid any mistakes.

  3. How many months in advance did you book for flights? Im planning a trip in April and the current flight prices are showing 65k round trip should I wait for a few weeks for it to come down or should I book this as the tickets are slightly out of my budget…i want something in 60k or below..pls advise
