2-Day Osaka Travel Vlog π―π΅ Where to Eat, Vintage Shopping & Hotel Stay
Here’s exactly what to eat and do in Osaka, Japan in 2 days. From must try food spots to endless vintage shopping. Hi, I’m Mish, a New York-based corporate girly turned entrepreneur and now wifey who manifested my dream life. So, I’m here to help you live yours, too. This week, I’m taking you to Japan and showing you where to go for the perfect Osaka trip. [Music] Hello from Osaka. We are here for two full days. We just checked into our hotel and now we’re at Dontown Bur Street. So, we’re starting our itinerary, eating, shopping, and everything. So, let’s get going. [Music] You make me go crazy. All the little things. There’s takoyaki. So hot. It’s good. Definitely less crispy in New York. Okay. Very good. [Music] We’re settling with that. Wagyu katu is a must try. So we are trying it on our first day and it looks so so good. Oh my god, that looks so good. Looks so good. Oh my god. Wow. Medium rare. It’s so good. It’s so soft. Wow. 10 out of 10. Next is the Abby. That’s so good. Wow. That was my first time having beef katsu and it was literally a 10 out of 10. Like you definitely have to get it in Japan. And now we want some caffeine. I haven’t had a matcha in a week being in Asia. So, we’re going to go on a search for matcha. And it has to be good because we’re in Japan, right? So cute. Yum. Our matcha is so tiny because we asked for half the amount of milk, but it tastes way better. I did not want to be drinking lots of milk. Though the milk here tastes really good. Matcha sule. Ooh, the matcha ice cream is really good. These are like tea things. [Music] Next food stop sushi. [Music] Mhm. Fun fact, this Osaka trip is actually the start of my husband and my honeymoon and then we’re going to Kyoto and Tokyo after. Before we were in Singapore and Korea, so we’re actually in Asia for a full month. And hotels have been pretty great so far. We love the hotel that we’re staying in in Osaka. And I’ll be doing a full tour of it. It’s actually very spacious. The service was great. So, you’ll get to see it later. But I’m excited to eat. We just ordered some sushi and first sushi in Japan. Yay. Yum. [Music] Grilled clams. Oh my god, this looks so good. [Music] Wow, look at this crowd. So crazy right now. It’s 7:30 right now and the crowds are just getting so crazy on this street. It’s really really lively actually. [Music] [Laughter] [Music] My husband thinks he’s funny trying to be me, but that doesn’t look like me, does it? [Music] A little vintage shopping. When we were vintage shopping, I was looking for a mini Kelly, Kelly 25 or Birkin 25. I really only wanted a brand new bag and the price range for that was 18,000 USD to around 28,000 for basic leather. If you play the Hermes game and you know all the pre-spend that goes into bags, you might say that this actually wasn’t a bad price. So, I was seriously considering, especially since you get to pick the color that you want and see everything in store. [Music] Yum. More Birkens shopping. Boooos. We’re getting loos. We picked up a loou for fun. They’re apparently a little bit cheaper here. They’re kind of at cost compared to the US. So, we’re going to unbox this blind box. The colors. Don’t look at the card. Okay. What color do you think it is? Just take out the bag. Don’t look at the card. Don’t look at the card. Okay. I don’t know what color it is. Ready? You ready? Gray. Oh, it’s a pig. Why? It’s a cute one. Wait. This is a secret one. No, this is so cute. Yay. Which one is this? I don’t know which one. Wait. I like this one. Cute. [Music] So much food. Food. Stop number four, five. Lost count at this point. Some random soup that we don’t know what it is. It’s 9:30 p.m. and we decided to have one more food stop before the end of the night. We’re at some sort of food hall which is close to our hotel. It’s just like in the basement and there’s so much food here. But the place we decided on is this Odang like soup spot. I think it’ll be a little bit lighter. To be honest, I’m quite full from the sushi, but you know, we got to try it all. Wow, this looks so good. Wow, it’s so good. Sausage. It’s 10:00 p.m. We’re going back to the hotel, but the food hall is still super lit. So, I guess people just like eating really late at night in Japan. But I am so tired. It’s 10:30 p.m. Back at the hotel. I will do a full room tour tomorrow, but it’s a little bit messy right now because we unpacked. And I’ll just wait for the room to get cleaned. So, see you guys tomorrow for our second day. Morning, guys. It’s day two in Osaka and we have a full day ahead. So, we’re starting off with going to some breakfast spots, cafes, seeing what we can find. I really want a matcha, then going into some shopping, lunch, more shopping, and dinner. So, let’s get our day going. It’s a little rainy today, so hopefully it stops. [Music] Second matcha this trip. I did it with oat milk. I actually do prefer almond milk, but this match is pretty good. Also, look at the color. Off to the next food destination. I think we’re looking for some baked goods. It’s still pretty early and things don’t really open up until 11:00 a.m. So, maybe a cafe, but just wandering. Thank god the rain has slowed down a little bit. [Music] It’s 11:00 and people are already lining up outside of stores. So, we’re going to try to actually just eat lunch early so that we can go shopping. So, forget the extra pastries. We’re here. [Music] So cute. They have this little thing of how to eat the sukiyaki. And each set is only $26, which is really good value. There’s one place that my husband and I like to go and it’s around like 85 for a set in New York City. So, and this is all A5 waggy. You can’t feel looks so good. [Music] Wow. 10 out of 10. It’s so good. [Music] [Music] Now little detour. [Music] They don’t allow videos in the Chanel store, but it’s not busy at any Chanel store. Probably because there’s so many vintage bags on the street that people rather buy those than full retail. But we’re going to go shop a little bit more. [Music] Snack break. Mini snack break. We got these Pablo tarts. It’s a cheese tart. M. It’s really good. Wow. It’s like a cheesecake. I really like it. 10 out of town. The crowds are starting to get crazy. So much Louis Vuitton. Chanel Hermes freaking heaven. What color? What leather? Is it sweet? Yeah, this is sweet. Okay. Okay. So, it’s pretty delicate. [Music] It’s cute. And this is the light camera. Literally Birkin heaven. It’s starting to rain more again. No. [Music] It looks like a bluish green. Yeah, this color is really [Music] cute. Yeah, it looks more green. in the black. It’s time for a tea break. I don’t know which one I want. It’s so good. I added coconut jelly. Takoyaki stop. We saw the spot yesterday. It had a long line, but right now it’s kind of short. So, we are going to try some takoyakis again. [Music] Oh my god, they’re so soft. They’re so hard. They’re really good. Highly recommend. Definitely try. [Music] Yes. [Music] Yum. I would say there’s a lot of rice as well. We came here just for fun. [Music] This one’s better than the first one. Yum. [Music] We’re going to get our last meal of the day and looking for a ramen spot. We found one on Tabalog and it has good ratings. So hopefully it is pretty good. But this was a successful second day in Osaka. Off to get some ramen now. [Music] Yeah. [Music] Our first ramen in Japan. Oh, that’s so good. [Music] [Applause] Wow. So nice. So cute. [Music] It’s so good. [Music] It’s like a YouTube. Back to the hotel. It is time to do a room tour. Hello guys. Welcome to our hotel room. It’s a little bit messy because it is lived in for a day, but this is our last night in the Osaka Station Hotel. It’s kind of like one big room. There’s the bathroom. It has a bedet. Every single Japanese bathroom has a bedet. And then the shower area is actually pretty nice because it has a tub. Has this island area which is filled with all of our stuff. I really like if you come here, I really like this thing. Oo, you can kind of separate out like the bathroom and the sleeping space. A lot of people say that hotels in Japan are very small, but I actually feel like this hotel is very spacious. And it comes with some robes, also pajamas for each person here, which is really nice. though. Feeling them, I feel like they’re a little bit rough. And then here’s more of our mess. Kingsize bed, couch, table, and then actually we’re on the 32nd floor, so pretty nice view. The hotel was $1,000 a night including tax, so it’s not the cheapest, but I also think we came at a very expensive time. I think you probably could get this hotel for maybe like a low of 500. They do stock the fridge, which is kind of nice. So, you get a full fridge. We drank some of the stuff already, but you get all of this. It’s included. You get some sake. There’s a safe. The one thing I would say is that the cleaning service, they don’t do that great of a job. Like I feel like they folded some stuff, but it wasn’t for a fivestar hotel, there should be turndown service. We feel like for $1,000 a night with tax, we need turned down service. But okay, that’s it. It’s 11:20 and we decided to take a little adventure. I showered, but we were like, you know, why not get some food? It’s our last night in Osaka and tomorrow we’re going to Kyoto. So either McDonald’s or maybe 7-Eleven. We’ll see. This is a pretty nice 7-Eleven. Little nighttime stroll. It’s an actual 15-minute walk to the McDonald’s from our hotel. The only one that’s open right now. We made it. What are we going to order? Suki yaki soup. Our late night McDonald’s meal. The one different thing they have are these like shrimpy nuggets. That’s right. I want the burger, but I’m not going to eat the burger. My husband’s gonna eat the burger. Okay. Like a spicy ebie nugget. They’re such badasses. All we did was eat all day. We did 21,000 steps today so far. Sauce. Two days in Osaka are complete and tomorrow we’re headed to Kyoto. So definitely follow and subscribe so you can see the rest of our Japan travels. Bye guys. See you in Kyoto. [Music] I don’t want no best friend. know I got
