Pokemon Center Nagoya Tour
Hey, what’s up guys? Good afternoon from Nagoya, Japan. We got a another day of looking for inventory. Basically, it’s going to be like that every day I’m here. All right, make my way to the card shop, but um going to see if they have guton on the way. I want some cheap guton. The hell is this place? He’s like jigalow or something. This looks like the street where all the male sex workers work. Yeah, this looks like a jigalo street or something. Like hotels and pictures of a bunch of pretty dudes. Yeah. The hell? I didn’t even know something like this existed. I think I’m already at the cart shop, but um I haven’t seen too many restaurants. I haven’t seen a Gudon place. So, turn right. I think I think I’m just going to look for a Gudon place on Google Maps instead. All right. Said there’s a Yoshinoya here. Oh, yeah. I see it right there. Across the street. Across the street. This ordering system is pretty cool. It’s all e here, too. on the on the Pokemon Center, but looking for a place to smoke, man. See a bunch of cigarette butts in the alleys. I’m not sure if I could smoke there. I remember when I went to Osaka or Tokyo, there was like these like cigarette smoking booths. I haven’t seen any of those here though. Yeah, there’s some cigarette but there’s this Pokemon center. Going to check what floor it’s on. Also need to buy a sweater, too. So, [Music] stay on the lookout for that. And uh Okay, let’s see. Oh, it’s just a movie theater up there. So, so the two stores I wanted to go to were in here. I think I’m going to head to the park after this. There’s like a huge smoke break area in this park. I don’t know why I assumed they wouldn’t allow smoking in the park. Check out this Kirby stick. Feel like Kirby’s so cute. These games are fun, too. Wait for my ship to get out of here. Look at this. Okay, I got the together. [Music] It’s a nice little walk along the park. This park like stretches for like many blocks that way. I think it ends like I don’t know if you guys can see that statue back there, but yeah, that’s one end of it. And oh yeah, this is nice. It’s a bridge over the road. Nice. This would be a cool place to skate. I wonder if they allow it. I heard Japan is pretty strict about skateboarders on the streets, especially in the bigger cities. But yeah, I’m just going to slowly make my way back, get to work, and go get dinner later. I’m starting to notice like a a lot of the budget hotels are near like this sex industry stuff. Yeah, cuz the place I’m staying at, it’s like right across the hall from a massage parlor. I’m not 100% sure it’s a wh house, but uh it kind of looks like it. All the hotels and pictures of good-looking people. I thought it would have been louder, but it’s okay. Found this Pokemon vending machine. I’m just going to try it. I never tried a Pokemon vending machine. See what I get. It’s basically gambling here. See if it’s like almost 10 bucks. See if it works. Cool. Uh yeah, I don’t think these cars are good, but I don’t know. We’ll see what’s in there. Check it out when I get back. Uh, this front card is I don’t What is that? Cricut tune. I think that’s cricket tune or something. Yeah, we’ll see how it goes. Yeah, this pack sucks. It’s uh I should have I should have never gambled, man. Yeah, I know gambling is a bad thing. This thing, this Cricut tune only cost like three bucks. That’s pretty much the cost of shipping. So, oh no, that that was not worth whatever the seven bucks that I spent on it. I spent seven bucks on this. It’s all just commons besides this cricketon [Laughter] cricket. I shouldn’t have picked number seven. That That was obvious. cuz everybody picks number seven on the So, you had I had I had a choice from like 1 through eight and yeah, I chose uh seven, which is probably the most common one everybody picks. That’s probably where they put all the crappy stuff. But yeah. All right. I’m not going to gamble anymore. I was going to buy some packs of Pokemon cards, but that’s gambling, too. Um, I do have a plan to buy a box if I could if I could get it for a good price, but that the TCG line at the Pokemon store was long as hell. Um, yeah, I filmed it. So, uh, yeah, I don’t want to stand in that line. Um, so there was a smaller line to the right of that for um for everything else besides TCG, besides the cards. Uh, and that line was much shorter, but it was moving slow as hell. So, so yeah, I don’t know. I’ll go on another day, see if that TCG line’s any shorter, cuz I think the new set comes out. Like, I planned my trip around when the new set comes out. But what I didn’t realize is um it’s very hard to get it when it first comes out. It’s actually much easier to just um get the last one. They usually have it for retail price. Yeah. So, I’m going to see if I could get that. I got to use my Google Translate. I got too flustered in there cuz there was way too many people in that little store. So, yeah, it’s not too far from where I’m staying. So, I could go check it out again before I leave. Yeah.
It was smaller than I thought. I also checked out some Sanrio and Nintendo stuff. Had a good time.
