Banzai Japan (2025) Okinawa: Episode 25 – Ocean Expo Park

Hey everyone, it’s DJ Ven aka Yellow Pig. I’m suncharged and ready for another day of exploring. In today’s episode of Bonsai Japan, we’re stepping into the sprawling ocean expo park where you’ll find flowers, history, and Okinawan heritage all rolled into one pictures coastal paradise. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] The Ocean Expert Park was built on the grounds of the 197 1975 World Exposition and is now home to gardens, museums, dolphin shows, beaches, and of course, Chiroi Aquarium, which we’ll explore in the next episode. It’s big, it’s breezy, and it’s beautifully Okinawan. [Music] Here’s what you can expect across this massive park. First up, native Okinon village, traditional that houses where you get to experience folk music, crafts, and banana fiber weaving, also known as basha. [Music] Next up, Tropical Dream Center, a massive greenhouse of orchids and butterflies. [Music] For me, the best part about this place was finding a durian Hey, [Music] Emerald Beach. One of the most scenic beaches on Okinaw’s main island. White sand, clear waters, absolute vibes. And if you do get hungry, don’t worry. There are cafes, vending machines, and even food trucks scattered across the ocean expo park. For myself, I got a bowl of Aguork Ramen and a cup of Shikuasa juice. Ocean Expo Park isn’t just a tourist draw. It’s a celebration of Okinawa’s post-war revival and its unique Rukun identity. Built as part of the 1975 World Expo, the park was intended to show the world that Okinawa is more than just beaches. Its history, its science, and its soul. [Music] Ocean Expo Park, where science meets sea. and history meets hibiscus. Now, just beyond this hill lies one of Okinoa’s famous attractions, but that’s a tale for another time. Don’t forget to like, share, comment, and subscribe. Till next time, stay bright, stay curious, and never stop exploring.
