【Otaru Walk | Bus Trip】JR Hokkaido Bus to Asari Kamui-Kotan

Good morning.

When I once walked to the far end of Asari Beach, someone asked me, “Is Kamui-Kotan beyond here?”
I didn’t know there was a place with that name in Otaru — but later found there’s actually a bus stop called “Asari Kamui-Kotan.”

Curious about this mysterious name, I took a JR Hokkaido Bus from Otaru Station to look for it.
However, I accidentally passed right by the stop — and never figured out where “Asari Kamui-Kotan” actually was.

The Asari Kamui-Kotan bus stop is about an 18-minute walk from Asari Station,
so once the bear sightings in Otaru calm down, I’d like to walk there and explore the area myself.
