Day 1 of 10 from our Japan trip #dailyvlog #japan #budget #escapewithyash #travel #visitjapan

We messed up day one in Japan, yet it was incredible. This was the Osaka checklist. Hi, I’m Yash and this is day one of my 10-day Japan trip. Landed in Osaka at 9:00 a.m. Immigration was super smooth since we had filled our Japan web form, got my luggage, and that’s when I saw it. The Japanese toilet. If you need one reason to come to Japan, this is it. Negotiated for a SIM card at airport for 4,000 yen. Exchanged a JR pass voucher for a proper pass from this section in front of train station. To reach Namba station, we reserved a super seat in Limited Express Rapid. Fun fact, Kai is the world’s first airport built on an artificial island in the sea. After 50 minutes of Shenchan style houses, we reached Namba. Welcome to Osaka. It was almost 1, but hotel checkin was at three. We had two options. Pay 1,000 yen per hour for early chicken or rent coin lockers at 500 yen per pack and start exploring. We paid for early check, ate some puris, obviously had the viral 7-Eleven strawberry drink, then realized forgot the charging converter. Three electronic stores and 1,500 yen later. Problem solved. It was 3 p.m. Planned to watch the sunset from Omega Sky. Took a small nap. Woke up at 7:00 p.m. Sunset gone. Rushed out, took the metro. Finally reached Omega sky. Found our way to the top. And wow, Osaka, you beauty. After admiring the city lights and taking tons of pictures, we headed back. Had dinner. And that was day one. So many mistakes and yet wouldn’t change a thing. Will we make it to all the spots? Come back tomorrow for day two. You should do this. Comment Japan for the full 10-day plan. And yes.
