Last month, Emily A. Sprague announced Cloud Time, an album recorded during her debut tour of Japan last fall. The opening track “Tokyo 1” served as an ascendent lead single, and now the Florist bandleader is sharing the lush followup “Hokkaido.”
“Hokkaido” buzzes and sprawls for almost seven minutes without shape or form. It’s a meditative adventure whose watery atmosphere is heightened by its accompanying visual by V Haddad. Dive in below.
