Air China will reduce the number of flights on the Osaka/Kansai (Japan) – Shanghai/Pudong (China) route from November 30.
The reductions apply to five roundtrips per week: flight CA164 departing Osaka/Kansai operates Monday through Friday, and flight CA163 departing Shanghai/Pudong operates Monday through Thursday and Sunday. Departures from Osaka/Kansai will start from the following day. The carrier cites aircraft rotation as the reason, and the reduced schedule runs through March 28, 2026.
Currently, the airline operates three roundtrips per day; during the reduction period it will operate 16 roundtrips per week.
