Mishima Downtown Daytime Stroll | GUILTY PLEASURE 65 | Street Photography | 静岡県 三島市
Hello
This video features a stroll through Mishima City.
Mishima City, often called the “City of Water,” charms visitors with clear streams and ponds fed by Mount Fuji’s spring water that flow right through the streets.
At its center stands the historic Mishima Taisha Shrine, surrounded by shopping arcades and eateries that still carry the warmth and atmosphere of a traditional post town on the old Tōkaidō road.
Strolling around, you’ll find cozy alleys, old-style shops, and a welcoming, down-to-earth spirit. Nature is close at hand in places like Rakujuen Park and Shirataki Park.
Local flavors such as grilled eel and Mishima croquettes add to the experience.
With its Shinkansen stop, Mishima is both nostalgic and accessible—a small city with a laid-back, friendly charm.
