All Aboard! Our Full Bullet Train Loop from Sendai → Sapporo → Hakodate → Morioka →and back🥰

We’re sharing our incredible rail adventure across northern Japan—one that spans bullet trains, express lines, and some of the most scenic routes in Tohoku and Hokkaido. Our journey begins in Sendai, where we boarded the sleek Shinkansen and headed north toward Sapporo, with a beautiful stopover in Hakodate. From the smooth ride through endless forests to the stunning views of the Tsugaru Strait, this leg alone felt like its own travel experience.
After exploring Sapporo, we made our way back down to Hakodate and onward to Morioka, switching from express trains to high-speed rail as the landscapes outside our window shifted dramatically—from coastlines to golden countryside. Each station brought a new rhythm, a new snapshot of daily life in Japan.
From Morioka, we continued south back to Sendai Station, wrapping up our rail loop with one last Shinkansen ride. And finally, we hopped onto the Sendai Airport Access Line, a quick and easy link that brought us straight to Sendai Airport, where our flight back to Hong Kong was waiting.
