On Friday, November 21st, the 13th Osaka Stick Soccer Tournament was held at Toyonaka City Housenka Senri Gymnasium.
GAMBA BOY and the GAMBA OSAKA Cheer Dance Team participated.

With the Housenka , a Silver Partner and SDGsmile Partner
The stick soccer tournament held by the Japan Stick Soccer Association, a general incorporated association,
The aim is to prevent the need for nursing care by promoting the health of the elderly and disabled and creating a sense of purpose in life .
“It is a lifelong universal sport that can be continued even if you are over 100 years old, needing assistance or nursing care, or have a disability.”
It is a sport in which players sit down without using their feet and hit a ball with a stick, aiming to score a goal.

As an opening act to the opening ceremony, GAMBA BOY and GAMBA CHEER performed a dance performance.
We all enjoyed moving our bodies to the music together with the other participants at the venue.
Over 150 people participated in this event.
The match was intense, and participants celebrated by raising their arms when a goal was scored.

In the traditional exhibition match, GAMBA OSAKA played against Housenka team and won brilliantly.

We would like to thank the Housenka , the Japan Stick Football Association, and all other parties involved for their efforts in helping us participate in this tournament.
We will continue to participate in these lifelong sports events and contribute to society by bringing smiles to the faces of local residents and enriching their lives through health and welfare.

This project is being carried out with the support of GAMBASSIST companies .
GAMBA OSAKA will continue to work together with many people, including those in its hometown, with the aim of becoming a club that is loved by the local community.
