Coach Kishida Mamoru, who is in his second year in charge and who raised the team from fifth place last year to third place, commented, “I think it was a good time. Everyone put in a fair amount of practice,” and expressed his expectations for high-level competition in each position, saying, “It goes without saying that they will arrive in top condition for February 1st. I think everyone understands that they need to improve their level and make the most of these two months.”
