4 Best Matcha Lattes In Tokyo✨ #japan
Since moving to Japan, I’ve tried over 49 different matcha cafes across the country, and these are my current top four in Tokyo. Coming at number four is Atalia Matcha that uses the popular Yamamasa Koya Mai. Their matcha latte has strong notes of vegetital and umami profile, and you can even sample different types of Yamamasa Coya Man matcha shots here. Number three is Ibuku and matcha. If you love your matcha intense, their double shot matcha is going to hit the spot. They also serve one of my favorite matcha cheesecakes in Tokyo. Number two is this matcha spot with several locations in Tokyo. My go-to is the handpicked matcha latte, which had zero bitterness and it’s extremely rich and creamy. You can even add a scoop of their intense matcha ice cream and Shiraatama to transform it into a dessert. At first place is Chanova, which had the most well- balanced matcha latte with a hint of nuttiness. It was so good that I even grabbed a few of their matcha powders so I could recreate this drink at home. Like and follow as I’ll be sharing next my top four matcha cafes in Kyoto and Osaka.

I love matcha but it so hard to find in any store except for online in my country 😌😌., i guess green tea aren't that popular yet

I felt like atelier and hatoya is overhyped and overpriced. THAT or I just went on a bad day for both… it didn’t hit for me. Felt very much like a tourist trap. HOWEVER, Gion Tsujiri in Kyoto was AMAZING.

Gokago and Totaro are definitely the 🐐 of matcha lattes in Kyoto! Unfortunately Osaka pales in comparison to Kyoto and Tokyo when it comes to matcha cafes

I tried Atelier matcha 3 shots. None of them are really good…the line is long and I’d suggest skip it
