We took a day trip from Tokyo to Hakone, one of Japan’s most beautiful mountain regions, famous for its hot springs, views of Mt. Fuji, and unique transport network included in the Hakone Free Pass. 🚞⛩️

✅ Romancecar from Shinjuku – The perfect express train to start the journey, complete with great views and comfort
✅ Lake Ashi & Hakone Jinja – Wandered down to the lakeside torii gate with Mt. Fuji peeking through the clouds
✅ Pirate Ship Cruise – Sat up front in the VIP section with panoramic views over the lake and mountains 🏴‍☠️🗻
✅ Hakone Ropeway & Owakudani – Rode through the volcanic valley, tried the famous black eggs said to add seven years to your life! 🥚
✅ Onsen Time at Kappa Tengoku – Relaxed in a traditional hot spring to finish the day, a true Japanese experience ♨️
✅ Romancecar Back to Tokyo – Beer in hand, enjoying the return journey after a long but amazing day
